The house was exactly as advertised. We have an annual trip to Shawnee Mountain with our friends and never rented the same house twice in the past. Well, things are about to change. We look forward to renting this house again. The owner is very honest and there are no hidden agendas. Thank you for turning on the heat before we arrived. The house location is very convenient to the ski resort and center of town. Our kids enjoyed your DVD selection!

First of all, the owner Marie is an AMAZING person to talk to. She responds quickly and answers all of your questions. It all started when a previous owner had to cancel our lease agreement due to a problem and we found this house last minute. I can say this was my luck for finding a house within 3 weeks of our snowboarding trip date. She was very helpful and gave us a late check out.
On the day we got to the house, everyone was just amazed how HUGE this house was. I always rent a winter vacation house every year but nothing beats this house. The house had more than it was described. I hosted this trip with 20 family members and friends and it was still big for us. We get lost sometimes. They enjoyed the DVD collection, air hockey in the basement, workout area, flat screen tv's in almost every room. We spent the whole day at Camelback and we all enjoyed the
fireplace. We also had other visitors who stopped by the house for dinner from snowboarding & little did they know they previously rented this house two years ago and shared stories about what they did in the
house. And Marie, they said you were very easy to work with and wished they had the new things they didn't have last time such as the extra bunk bed, flat screen tv', etc.
Once again, thank you do much for making our trip more successful.
I 100% recommend this place. Worth every penny!!!

This house was the perfect getaway for our winter break. My family and our friends with their children stayed at this house for some snow tubing and skiing. The house is set in the perfect location, close to Shawnee Mt. and Fernwood. We would definitely stay there again for some quality family time together. The owners of the house were very accommodating to us. I highly recommend this house!!

We stayed at this huge, great house for our family ski trip. Only a few minutes from Shawnee MT, the house was in a quiet location and was extremely spacious. We had a party of 13 people and had plenty of room the whole weekend. The house is stocked with everything you would need, and things that you need but forget to bring. Marie was great to deal with and can't wait to deal with her again. There are also tons of games and dvd's to keep you busy at night. Overall, you can't pick a better place to go.

The owners are just as warm and inviting as their beautiful home. Nestled in the picturesque mountains, this huge, furnished home provided the ideal setting for an escape from the city to a place where we can reflect upon, and appreciate the finer things in life. We had a sizeable group yet even when we all came together in one area, we still had plenty of space around us. To our delight, the entire house was clean, neat, and in good order which set the tone for a happy, peaceful and memorable weekend. Our thanks to the owners as we hope to relive this experience next year.

I don't normally write reviews but I am compelled to write this one based on my amazing experience at this home. This is the first time that I have ever rented a vacation rental house and I could not have been happier with my experience. First off, upon entering the house, it was extremely clean and exactly as pictured on the site. All the rooms were immaculate and the beds were soooo comfortable! The kids had a blast in the room with the bunk beds as well. The house itself is located in a place where you feel secluded but at the same time there are many stores located within minutes should you need anything. As far as the backyard, our family had such a great time in the backyard roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and BBQ'ing. When it rained, we were able to cook a nice dinner inside while the kids watched TV and played cards /games in the living room. At the end of the night, all 12 of us sat around the living room and told stories (priceless). In addition to the house being amazing, I must say the owner Marie, had a lot to do with our fantastic experience. She was professional, very easy to talk to, and extremely attentive by answering all of my questions promptly. We will definitely be returning every year, as there are plenty of activities to do nearby also! A MILLION THANKS to Marie for making our family retreat unforgettable!!!!

I speak for all eleven of us when I say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay while in The Pocono Mountains. Our decision to select this particular house, surely was "Divinely Inspired" because every thing was perfect!
The entire house was immaculate and equipped with what ever one could hope for to instill that feeling of "Home Away From Home".
The decor is tasteful. and the community areas such as the kitchen, dinning areas, living room were thoroughly enjoyed by the entire group in addition, the sleeping accommodation were extremely comfortable, affording each member of our group their privacy.
All of us were really in "AWE" as we absorbed the energy from the stately trees and other greenery that forms a border around the property. The entire property exudes an atmosphere of peace, love, and spiritually that is rarely experienced in rental properties.
ALL OF US GIVE YOU A "THUMBS UP"!!! We shall highly recommend you and your property to others. DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU HAS BEEN A PLEASURE!!!
Thank you Marie, my family & I had such a wonderful time and we all look forward to doing it again in 2012.
Many Blessings and Much Love,
Joyce & family

Review Title : 351127 - "Winter Getaway"
"With a group of 13, I was debating between this house and another house. The best decision I made for the trip was to rent this house. It was beautiful and clean! All 13 of us enjoyed the amount of space and linens and towels avaliable for us.
The kitchen was big enough for everyone to cook and there were enough pots and pans. Loved how there were spices available to us, which we forgot to bring up.
We enjoyed the fireplace, which was electrical, so the smell of wood burning in the house did not exist. 13 of us were able to gather around the spacious living room and open our secret santa gifts =]
The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious!
As city people, we enjoyed how secluded we were. The fire pit out in the back was perfect for our smores' even in the cold! We loved everything about the house and considered doing this annually (and renting this house annual, if available).
LOVE LOVE LOVED! the place, can't say it enough. Definitely recommend this place. And Marie was easy to work with! We had to leave a little bit later than we thought and she did not give us a hassel. Very reasonable woman. MUST RENT THIS PLACE, definitely a home away from home!"

Our large group stayed at your house during ski season. Not only was the price very affordable, but it was the first house we had ever rented that accommodated all of us and still felt spacious. The owner was very prompt and courteous with any questions or concerns. The house was nicely furnished and we all truly felt 'at home'. We certainly hope to be back in your area again! Thank you!

We booked this house for a Buddhist retreat. The house, the fresh air and the natural wooded environment was the perfect setting. The well-equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue grills allowed for everyone's participation. The various spaces throughout the house permitted individual conversations. The Pocono location begged to be explored. The beds were comfortable; the DVD selection extensive; the owner is very accomodating. We had a wonderful, peaceful and joyful gathering. It was our tenth year, and our best. We will definitely book it again!

We have just spent the weekend here at this house in the poconos. It was a lovely house and a lot more than what was expected. The house had plenty of room to accomodate a total of 15 people comfortably. It was well-kept and clean. The basement had a workout area and air hockey, which the kids enjoyed tremendously. The backyard was a great area for bbq-ing and making smores using their fire pit. We had the chance to actually meet with the owners, who were very nice and provided great hospitality. We usually do not provide reviews, however we felt that this house well deserved its positive feedback. We highly recommend this house to anyone considering a great place to stay in the Poconos.

My family and I rented the house while attending a family reunion and it was the best decision we could have made. The property was better than expected from the description. We were only 6 adults and 3 children but the house could easily have accomodated more. The location of house was perfect providing seclusion as well as easy access to local and area attractions. The bedrooms were all comfortable. The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was very relaxing. The kitchen was spacious and served as our focal point for breakfast and late night snacks. The teenagers were kept busy with the air hockey, DVD collection and available video games. the children loved the room outdoors to run around. we only wished we had more time.

"My NYC apartment is the size of the living rooms!!! This house is huge, not all cluttered with things that are not needed. Very well thought out, and made to cater to all ages. Everything was clean, well appointed , and most of all the Heating/hot water was amazing! It may have been 7 degrees outside, but we kept cozy with all of the extra blankets, and wonderful fireplace. Most of all I was able to relax, read, have some wine while staring into the woods at the back yard which is the woods! There is also a fun basement with an air hockey table which we played and had many laughs with. I can not say thank you enough to Marie who was with us every step of the way & could not have been nicer. I will tell everyone this, you do not need to bring ANYTHING! the grocery store, wine store, and anything you can imagine is just a few minutes away in the car. We will be back, i am already considering dates! "
