Description of the Eastham vacation cottage rental

Located on a sand road on the bayside of Eastham, our comfortable Cape Cod cottage is 3/4 of a mile from Thumpertown Beach. There is a good sized deck off the kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms,1 bath. There is a queen bed in one room, a twin and bunk beds in the other. The living room has a futon that opens to a full sized bed. The yard gets both sun and shade. There is plenty of driveway parking. We are in a quiet neighborhood of cottages and year round homes, a perfect place for a family vacation.

Area Information

Cape Cod Bay, Wiley Park (playground and beach on Great Pond) and the bike trail are close by. The National Seashore beaches are a short drive. Eastham has beaches, summer concerts, mini golf, ice cream shops, fine restaurants and gift shops. Wellfleet and Orleans are the adjacent towns - plenty to do, or quiet places to relax and get away.

Loved the location - on a dirt road so you feel like you are deep in the woods, but very convenient. 1 mile to the bayside beaches - a bike ride to the ocean. The house was spotless and in great shape. WiFi access was a nice surprise. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great location for beaches and summer activities. The cottage was adorable. Air conditioning in 1 or 2 rooms would have been nicer for it was hot. The outdoor shower and deck were fabulous. It was a little difficult with a small dog and no fenced in yard. There were alot of bigger dogs in the neighborhood. It was enjoyable. There were very few insects outside which made it relaxing at dinnertime. The owners were so sweet to come right over for I broke a house key. Love the area. Linda

Comfortable cottage for our family of three. Kitchen well stocked with pots/pans/dishes etc. Fans in every room were welcome as the weather was very hot and humid (no A/C). Ping pong table in yard was a bit hit with our son. Nice quiet location and very close to many activities.

The cottage is in a nice quiet area that is close to many sites. Their is a beach that is a short distance away. The cottage itself was very clean and already had many of the amenities we needed. Arlene was very responsive and made planning the trip extremely easy. This is a great place to stay for a Cape vacation. Highly recommended.

The cottage was clean, spacious and well appointed. I can't think of anything else the cottage might have offered that we lacked. The owner was very prompt in communicating with me. Without prompting, the owner called me the last evening of our stay and offered to let us stay longer our final day because there was no one else coming that day. We were sorry to leave.

If you are looking for a clean, cozy cottage to rent for a Cape Cod vacation look no more! This cottage is located in a quiet, woodsy neighborhood and is completely uppdated. All amenities included! You are able to get to the different areas on the cape by using the back sceneic roads, avoiding Route 6. The cottage sleeps 5 comfortably, anymore would be a bit too crowded!
