Perfect for Families!

This house is clean, large and has great updates. Our family of 4 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children (4 & 2) really enjoyed the large deck, the outside shower, the new and clean grill, the well appointed kitchen, and the large dining room table. The bike path is right up the road and our favorite beach (First Encounter) is just a quick drive away (with two kids and a lot of stuff, every beach is a drive!) The garage is filled with beach chairs, boogie boards and plenty of space to store your bikes. Eastham is a great town, and this house is close to it all. The National Seashore, Arnold's (Worlds Best Fried Clams), many family friendly bay beaches, and short drives to Wellfleet, Chatham, Brewster and P-town. I've been coming to the Cape for 34 years and this house is a great value, in a great location.

Great location and space

My wife and I shared this house with two other couples and all came away extremely satisfied with both what the home offered and its location to both bay facing and ocean facing beaches. A couple of big pluses of the house are double and queen beds in all bedrooms (this is pretty rare on the Cape), a vast upstairs space with a large furnished deck overlooking the First Encounter marsh and beach, washer and dryer and additional fridge in the basement, charcoal grill, and ping pong and fooseball. The grill and extra fridge space are especially nice because they allowed us to do as many meals at the house as we wished. Besides providing easy access to both First Encounter and the National Seashore the location also serves as a great spot that is beyond much of the more crowded touristy areas but still providing access to both lower and mid Cape as well as Welfleet and P-town. Overall at the price the house is fantastic and if I'm fortunate enough in the future to be planning another Cape Cod vacation I'll be sure to consider this house first.

Great Family Cottage

This cottage has everything you could possibly need. The garage was equipped with a pool table along with every beach toy and chair you could ever imagine needing. The house was clean and many rooms have been updated. The downstairs bathroom must have just been done over alog with the kitchen. The kitchen is small, but again, equipped with everything....even an espresso machine! The woman who rents the cottage was great. She was very easy to get a hold of when a question arose and alway responded via email promptly. My family had a wonderful time!

New addition gave us upstairs deck ,and living room. Table and chairs to enjoy lobster feasts and watch spectacular sunsets, Location terrific for bay and ponds. Loved and used the outdoor shower. Loads of beach chairs. Closet full of board Games. Kitchen very well equipped. Extra refrigerator a Bonus and used. Contacted owner on several issues. Prompt and Positive response. We would definitely rent again.

great location

We have been coming to Cape Cod for 17 years and enjoy staying in Eastham. This house has a great location. Within 5 minute walk of town beach at Herring pond, warm fresh water, calm water for kayaking with kids. Very close to Cape Cod Bike trail, Rock Harbor, First Encounter Beach, Orleans. The location was perfect for us with our 3 kids, all teenagers. The house is very nice, with a good view overlooking the marsh towards the bay. Thanks.
