Area Info
Whether your vision of a vacation is relaxing on unspoiled, secluded sandy shores, antiquing or browsing art galleries, dining on fresh caught seafood from the Atlantic Ocean, golfing, bird watching, a bicycle ride or walk in the woods, Eastham on Cape Cod is your destination! Just 20 miles from the eastermost tip of the Cape, Eastham offers visitors the best of everything--from the Atlantic Ocean to Cape Cod Bay.

Eastham is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Vistors may view the dramatic vistas from Coast Guard & Nauset beaches where the ocean meets the bay, or participate in a variety of self-guided tours of this 27,700 acres of land preserved through a bill signed by President John F. Kennedy on August 7, 1961. It’s a short walk or drive to the Saltpond Visitor Center, where you and your family can visit an onsite maritime National Seashore Museum, browse the gift shop, or learn through the many lectures and films shown daily

For a change of pace, a visit to the Historical Schoolhouse is where you will enjoy local artists under the tents. While shopping, stop at one of the local restaurants to dine on the "catch of the day" as Eastham offers many restaurants and casual eateries. No matter what your preference, exceptional food and friendly service are always the fare.

Be sure to visit Rock Harbor-- a busy scene of charter boarts and fishermen. Whether in the early morning, midday or evening, this busy working harbor is a stop worth making on your visit-- you might even decide to take a short offshore cruise for a gull's eye view of the National Seashore.

A bird watching paradise awaits you at the Wellfleet Audubon, a five minute drive from your accommodation.

The house was very clean and well maintained with new appliances and furniture. The location is fantastic as it's close to everything and it's not far from the beautiful Coat Guard beach. We had a great time! Thank you Elizabeth and David!
