Heartwood House is a beautiful, hand-crafted, post and beam home, located a short walk from the picturesque village of Eastsound on Orcas Island. The Island Cedar, Alder, and Madrona woods used to build Heartwood create a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you enter the house. You can relax on the deck or in the great room while enjoying a serene southerly view of Eastsound Bay.

Heartwood is an ideal destination for vacations, family reunions, workshops, and retreats. Gather family and friends at this lovely waterview home for memorable vacations and celebrations. The great room features an open floor plan with two wood burning stoves. The kitchen is a wonderful venue to create meals with all the appliances and amenities needed to feed a crowd. We can arrange for your every need...an in-home massage, a chef or extra housekeeping, during your stay. There's even a high chair and crib, and we are kid and pet friendly!

The Heart & Hand Studio (above the garage) may sometimes be rented for an additional $900/week, plus tax. The Studio features a Queen bed and Queen sleeper sofa, Full Bathroom and Kitchenette which includes mini-fridge, coffee and tea makers, microwave and toaster oven. Heating is provided by propane stove and electric radiators.

We had a wonderful time at Heartwood House. The house is close to the village (it took less than ten minutes to walk) and has great views down the sound. Incredible sunsets! Very warm and welcoming and comfortable.

Heartwood House was an excellent choice for this family's gathering to celebrate our Dad's 60th birthday. There was everything we needed-a fully appointed kitchen, beautiful furnishings...even a crib & high chair for the baby. We'll definitely be back!
