This charming home is situated in an idyllic private wooded setting on Sengekontacket Pond, one of the largest salt-water ponds on Martha's Vineyard. Comfortably furnished, it has a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area leading to large deck. Views from this deck include an Audubon Society aviary 1/4 mile across the water, and Nantucket Sound a mile away. In the evening, swans and rabbits feed in your back yard. The home contains four bedrooms and a large living room with a working fireplace and cathedral ceilings. The home sits in an association noted for its quiet and safety. Bring your sea kayak, windsurfer and fishing pole and use them in the back yard. An additional fresh water pond and tennis courts come with the rental. Bike trails abut the association, leading to the state forest, Edgartown, and Oak Bluffs. Golf is one mile away

Comfortably nestled in a small, quiet association with a nearby freshwater pond with sandy beach for toddlers. Clubhouse with ping-pong for rainy days. A half mile out of the scenic association to the Edgartown-Oak Bluffs bike path. This will also access the many bike paths in the state forests. Tennis is included in the association. Golf is one mile away. Shopping in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs is convenient and three miles in either direction. Local merchants will deliver rental kayaks or canoes to our property at a reasonable cost, and you can spend the week on the water off your back yard.
