Awsome!

My husband, son and sons best friend stayed here for four nights in July. It was a perfect set up for us. The teen boys had the lower level and we were upstairs. The view was AWSOME. The lake was crystal clear and we took advantage of the two kayaks and canoe provided as well as swimming and just floating in the water. There is no airconditioning and it was very warm (97) while we were there but fans and the lake breeze worked for us. There was a nice lakefront trail and woods behind the cottage for walking. Road America is 5 min. away for the boys and my husband and I got wonderful massages at the Osthoff across the lake. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well stocked. John was very helpful with any questions and just a nice guy! We had a wonderful stay and would easily stay there again! Thank you John and Chris, Lucy dog too, for sharing your delightful home.

Very Nice

We spent several nights in June at this cottage. We were very impressed by how clean and tidy everything was. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. They view from this place was amazing. There is a beautiful dock with seating area. The owners were very nice. The property was in great condition inside and out. We will be returning in Sept.

Peaceful, relaxing, and a nice last minute getaway

The cottage was very well maintained. The owners lived next door and were very attentive. It serve our family well. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer but other obligations came into play. We certainly enjoyed the fire pit. We had such a nice time roasting marshmellows with our granddaughter. We loved being able to hear the music from Victorian Village on the deck while enjoying the fire pit and the breeze coming across the lake. The pier had a nice chair to relax on and enjoy the breeze from across the lake and chat with the morning fishermen, and enjoy our coffee. The temperature was quite hot but the pine tree cover and breeze made it very comfortable. We enjoyed watching Lucy, the family dog race off the adjoining lots' pier to retrieve a stick from the water. We also enjoyed Lucy coming to visit us on occassion. Alway friendly but not intrusive. On Saturday morning we visited the Farmer's Market and scored a great Amish Pie and some cute trinkets for our granddaughter. In a month or so I am sure you can score some fabulous produce. The Feed Mill store in town offers some basics and some very nice food options. There are multiple restaurants available varying in price ranges. We headed into town one day and got icecream from Siebkin's, which tickled our granddaughter and hit the spot for us. We would not have minded duing a round of golf (even though we enjoy it more for the ability to spend time together but not because we are very good at it). This place was very nice and I would like to thank John and Kris Esch for the privilage of staying there. Dave and Rhonda Riesop
