The "Independence" studio is perfect for a couple's private getaway weekend or if you and your spouse have two small children. It sleeps four with a kitchenette, full bath, hot tub and a cozy fireplace.
Location, Location, Location. This home is the CLOSEST rental property to the downtown four corners (Washington and Jefferson). Just a few steps to downtown and less than 1 mile to both Holiday Valley Ski and Golf resort and Holimont ski resort. This stately Victorian home is set amidst an enclave of mature trees and is situated beside the "Oasis Day Spa".
It is in a fabulous winter/summer resort town. After skiing all day, take a break and get to know the village's shops, many fine restaurants, and cultural centers. Go for a short stroll and walk the streets of downtown Ellicottville. Enjoy having a pint at the "Gin Mill", off to "The Barn" for dinner and then of course go dancing the night away at "Balloons". Experience the charm and unhurried lifestyle of Ellicottville any time of year. The area is renowned for its hiking and there are many miles of mountain bike trails.

Cozy getaway

What a perfect spot in a beautiful ski town. The Independence Studio, part of a large Victorian home, was mere steps from downtown Ellicottville. No shortage of shops and restaurants to check out. It's also a quick 2-3 minute drive to Holiday valley. The private hot tub was an absolute Godsend after skiing! Such an enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere! You can even see the slopes from the window! If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to stay, look no further than Independence.

Perfect for 2 - Convenient and Cozy

Harry's Hideway provided a great place to stay while my boyfriend and I were skiing at Holiday Valley. -The kitchen and bathroom are recently renovated -The kitchen had all of the essentials -The hot tub room was great to have available, especially after a long day of skiing. -Cable and wi-fi internet were very convenient -A good selection of DVD movies to watch -iPod dock beside the bed, perfect for those who tend to forget their chargers! -Lots of hooks to hang up your ski gear -It's location is perfect - a 2 min drive to the hill and a 2 min walk to all of the restaurants and cute shops -Cost is very reasonable and worth it! We would definitely stay here again!!

Exceptional Rental! Amenities galore!

I stayed at this property in August. Not only is it convenient to everything...the Village, Holiday Valley, bike trails and so much more, it has everything you need and then some. Tastefuly decorated with pieces of nostalgia throughout, you will never lack for conversation. One from person or a couple in the studio, to a large gathering in the main house, you can't go wrong with this property. When I arrived, it was spotless, and everything was there with clear instructions. Having worked in Property Management, I give this rental a A+++ .

What a great Place

My wife and I stayed at Harrys Place to go skiing in E/ville, it was just the right size for 2, cozy and quaint, Close to town, just a very short walk away, had all of the modcons you need for a few days stay. I have told others who ski that for an informal place to stay, this is the place, booking on line was easy and if you had any questions the owner more than helpfull is assist.
