We have a home available for rent in a fabulous winter/summer resort town. The home is within six miles of Holiday Valley and Holimont for skiing or golf. Holiday Valley and Holimont are located in Ellicottville, a charming town just 51 miles south of Buffalo, New York. After skiing all day, take a break and get to know the village's shops, many fine restaurants, and cultural centers. Experience the charm and unhurried lifestyle of Ellicottville any time of year. The area is renowned for its hiking and there are many miles of bike trails. After the charm of this special community has melted your stress and worries away, perhaps you may be game for something a little faster paced. The Seneca Casino is just a ten-mile jaunt for nightlife, gambling, and dining.

Nice place. We were a group of 4 guys getting away golfing. We appreciated the 4 bedrooms with large beds that accommodated the guys ! The property had central air which was good ! Only suggestion would be to add HD television ! but overall good time. We had no problems in working out details with the owner when renting this property ... thanks for the good time!

This vacation home was exactly what was promised and more! Eight of us stayed for three nights with lots of room and plenty to do right on the property. Skiing was our main focus of this trip, but a few of us took a day trip to Niagara Falls which is beautiful in the winter. We used the hot tub, the fire pit, the game room and the comfy living room area for our down time. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of Pampered Chef items, and plenty of extras like a waffle iron, toaster oven, blender, etc. The master bedroom is a huge loft area with it's own bathroom. Two of the other bedrooms have double beds and the third one sleeps 5 kids easily or a few adults. We highly recommend this home for a family get away!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon - it was exactly what we wanted. A cozy house away from everything but still close enough to enjoy the town. There was more than enough to keep us busy at the house - love that the hot tub is open year round! The fire was great to enjoy on the colder nights, everything was clean and functioning. All in all a great house. We will definitely be back with friends!!

We just left our stay at the Carley house too, it was amazing. The house has so much. We held air hockey tournaments, foose ball games, and took turns sitting in the sauna awaiting our turns for pool. Our group tries to vacation seasonally, and this place is the nicest we have ever stayed at. Plenty of rooms, activities, easy to find, and completely affordable. We had a great time and hope to come back in the winter

This is our 9th year and this is the best property we've had by far. Plenty of room, clean; the hot tub, game room, new roof, and everything else is great! We didnt have to worry about forgetting anything, everything was right there. Excellent location, plenty to do and not far from anything we needed. We had an awesome time! Thanks for a great stay! It was the perfect place for our annual girls getaway. Plenty of beds, lounging room both inside and out and the hot tub was perfecto!! A great addition. We were just close enough to town for shopping, dinner out and spa's and just far enough away to enjoy the quite. We have gone twice in the last few years and highly recommend to anyone!

This was our 4th year staying at the Carley House & as usually it was a great time! Plenty of stuff to do to keep busy, play pool, horseshoes, foosball, air hockey & of course enjoy the hot tub. We rented this property for a week in July and loved every minute of it!! Comfortable beds, nice and relaxing atmosphere with all the amenities anyone could ask for. The next door neighbor, Bob, was a gentleman and was available for any help we may have needed. The small town, which is just a short drive away, has a wonderful coffee shop and lots of other great little shops. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings so much that we opted to cancel some of our outings just to hang out on the deck and enjoy the surroundings. I'm from the south and we love cookouts. The outdoor grill is massive and we cooked everything to perfection on it! I can't wait to go back next year!! What a blast! Altho Mother Nature rained on us most of that weekend, we still went out skiing Friday night. Spent more hours in the hot tub than on the slopes- but so relaxing with speakers on the porch even! Brought a canopy to cover the hot tub b/c of weather- genious! Had a great meal at EBC, drinks at Balloons. Was a great escape from reality. Thanks Dave- we will be back!

My family stayed at the "Chalet" for a mid April weekend and we all thoroughly enjoyed our get-away! Dave is a wonderful host and his neighbour was very helpful. There was 5 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 kids. We took advantage of the pool table, fireplace, sat. TV, HOT TUB (my fav.), kitchen and of course the local flavour of EVL. The weekend we were visiting was "Mud" week and the skiing was over, so the town was a little quiet but we had a couple of very nice nights out at the "GIN MILL". Great food and good times. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone that is looking to get away for a few days, at anytime of the year. There is always something to do at the chalet, surrounding area or in town. Me and 6 of my friends rented the "Carley House Too" for Fall Fest and we had the best time. The house had everything we could have dreamed of and more for our weekend getaway. The weather was perfect for us to do all of the outdoor activities at the house (horse shoes, grilling, fire, hot tub). The enjoyability of our trip was heightened by how well put together the note the owner left us. He had a binder with every detail planned out about the house so there was zero hassle for us. This made it so we were able to maximize our time doing what we wanted instead of trying to figure out how to work stuff or where stuff went. This is going to be an annual event for us. It is always great to have a good first impression because though truly last and stay with you. We could not have asked for a better time. Our family enjoyed our recent trip to the chalet in little valley. We took advantage of every option the chalet had to offer. Enjoyed the hottub in the evening while the snowflakes gently fell around us. We loved it so much we come home and booked it for Easter.

The cottage was clean and had room for our group of 9 adults and three young children. The amenities were great including hot tub,pool room,bbq,horseshoes,badminton,croquet,etc. There was a good clothes washer and drier as well as a dishwasher.There was a good supply of linens and cooking equipment.there were three tvs with cable connection. The owner has a full cleaning service that comes iin after the guests leave. All in all,we were very happy altho we would have liked a pool,but there is a good community pool just a mile away.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. The house was even more wonderful than the pictures, there was so much to do we never had to leave.We played pool, pacman, darts, video games the kids went in the hot tub, and our 80 year old aunt used the sauna. My husband and brother in law went hunting,we shopped in Ellicotville. Took a ride to Allegany for sledding, some winners and losers went to the casino. We never had a dull moment and we don't even ski. Bob was wonderful as well as useful giving directions. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed a relaxing girls only weekend. The place had everything we needed and then some! So much to do that we didn't even need to leave the house! We played air hockey, did puzzles, cooked, and of course spent a lot of time in the hot tub. The place was very roomy and comfortable. A great place to stay for any kind of group! Or would be nice for a romantic get away also.

Hi, I'm Al Stewart from ct. We stayed there for a full 7 days & just loved the whole place. Dave is a great owner & is always as flexible as possible. Bob next door is the best & stops in & is always mindful of your privacy, etc. You have Direct TV, a game which my step=son "lived" in, a great tob tub w/ privacy on the porch, beautiful star lit evenings & a great little town right down the rd. in Ellicottville. Very nice & we recommend eating at 3 plces, all which were very good. EBC, Ellicott brewing, Tip's Up rest. & The Gin Mill, which host's most of the local music also. Also, right down the road, 2 min. from the house is the "Flavor haus", which offers good ice cream cones & a nice view of the area if you eat them there. Darien Theme Park is about 1.3 hours to the North in Bennington, was okay, but had a real nice water park. Again, the house is really nice, you can do a fire out back, Bob of course brings the wood, lol! And again, Dave is an excellent guy!! Al

We were three couples that wanted to spend a few days motorcycle riding in Western NY and we definitely picked the right place to stay. We generally stay in hotels but having everyone under one roof is the way to go. Dave, the owner is amazing. The accommodations were everything we hoped and more, we felt like we were at home as soon as we arrived. Even though it was late, there was a light on waiting for our arrival. Just one of the many nice touches that made us feel like we were home and immediately comfortable. Of course the wonderful neighbors Bob and Harriet are an added bonus. We'll definitely go back for another visit.

The house was great, Dave made sure we had everything we needed. I have never stayed at a place with so many amentities. TV's in every room, a binder full of DVD's, pool table, air hockey, grill, sauna, hot tub, Nintendo stocked with games. I can gaurantee you will never get bored in this place and all this comes at a price that is well below average for the area. I would definitely stay here again.

This chalet is beautiful. My family and I stayed there from June 3rd to June 10th and the week flew by. My daughter loved the horseback riding which is literally right around the corner. My husband and son sat in the hot tub almost nightly. We definately didn't want to leave. There was so much for us to do: biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, and not to mention we got to see Niagara Falls for the first time. Thank you, thank you!!

Summers Are Great Also !!

Don't forget summers in this beautiful area. Golfing is just around the bend and there is a great pool there for those who wish to lounge and wait for the 18 to be over (yes, cocktails are available). One of New York's best parks, Allegany, is just a short drive away with hiking, biking, beaches and whatnot. The hottub and sauna are a great way to relax after a day out hiking and golfing. The BBQ grill was awesome. We had the best ribs and there was plenty of room for all. The house overall was perfect for our family and the guests who visited. We will definatly be back!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. We were having a "family reunion" of sorts with a surprise birthday party for our Mother and family coming in from all over the country, and it worked out just perfect. I grew up just a quarter mile down the road from the place and have always wondered what it was like inside. It far surpassed anything I could have expected from a rental property. If there was anything missing, you didn't need it. The game room lived up to it's name with darts, pool table and cupboards full of games. And the owner was very friendly and helpful in getting it all set up. Right down to reminding me not to forget the balloons! We didn't plan skiing (in April?) but it would be great at that time of year or any time. We're already discussing how we can all get together and go there again.
