Activities on the property are all seasons, including fishing , hiking, four wheeling, swimming, hunting, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, barbequing, picnicking, movie nights, camp fires, and plenty of room in the spring, summer, and fall for extra tent camping. fun, fun, fun.

This location is great for a multi family vacation where more than one family can share a vacation together at a reasonable cost.

Winter Family Ski Getaway

Jan we had a great time at your home this weekend. The house had lots of room for us and more. The beds were comfy, lots of towels, soap, & even toilet paper, it had all the necessities. We did'nt have to worry about a thing. The kitchen fully equipt, right down to the spices. I have to admit when I drove up and down those hills to the home the first couple times I was alittle worried, but once you do it, Its not bad at all. Just not use to driving in the hills.. Piece of Cake after that. We woke up to a Winter Wonderland Saturday Morning. Absulutely Beautifu!!! We had a big surprise when my son and his girl friend returned to the house from the ski hills Friday Night with big grins and announced their engagement. Made our Great Weekend Super Special!!!. Jan is a great person to deal with and very accommodating. We only encountered one down fall and that was the neighbours dog who liked to bark all night. Something that probably can'nt be helped ,all part of Country Living. We had another dog who came to visit us everyday, we loved him, (He was not the barker) Jan thanks for letting up rent your house, we'll see it we can make it back next year (we have a Wedding to plan. LOL ) Thanks again DEB

a beautiful country property!!

This would be a beautiful property for pond skating, cross country skiing,and snow shoeing. We regrettably did not have enough snow or cold temps for these activities, but we did venture out through the mud to the 2nd and 3rd ponds which were beautiful!! At night the place is very quiet apart from the cows. The roads to get there might be a challenge if there was a fresh snow fall which we also did not have. Lots of room for 2 families of 4 for a 4 night stay. About 20 minutes from down hill skiing where we did find manmade snow to enjoy our winter vacation.

Owner's reply:

Just wanted to mention that we do not own cows as they are down the road and barely make a noise. We really appreciate your stay and driving to resort is made shorter by taking rt. 240 to 242. As always roads in ski country are snow covered but are always maintained and plowed. This home is a year round family vacation spot with more activities available in addition to skiing.

Q:How far are you from Holiday Valley Ski Resort?

A:We are exactly 8 miles. Take rt. 240 to 242 right into the village.

Q:Do we need to bring anything?

A:Just your clothing, food and other personal items. The home is fully stocked. In some cases if you are bringing extra people you may need more blankets and pillows. There is an additional charge for any person over 10 people.
