Description of the Ellicottville vacation townhouse rental
The townhouse features cathedral ceilings, big bright windows throughout to let you enjoy the great view of the ski hills or golf course, three bedrooms, a fully stocked-kitchen, two full baths and a sundeck overlooking the slopes or golf course.
Very relaxing set up; complete with flat screen TV, free wireless internet service, and a woodburning fireplace for complete apres ski or chill out time. For our summer guests, the unit is fully air-conditioned for your comfort.
Walk down the steps to the Clubhouse Chalet and base of Mardi Gras and Cindy’s lifts for ski-in/ski-out convenience. The terrific slope side location provides you immediate access to 3 Quad chairlifts during ski season (normally November to April). In addition, families with young children will love the close proximity to the Creekside Lodge Children's Ski School and the Day Care Center.
In the spring, summer, and fall seasons you are only steps away from the pro shop and 1st hole of the beautifully renovated Double Black Diamond Holiday Valley Golf Course. For the more adventurous, there are lots of fantastic mountain biking, hiking trails, a high ropes course, a mountain roller coaster, and a short 20 min drive to the Seneca Alleghany Casino in Salamanca, NY. Families will not be disappointed by the new $1 million 3-pool complex located adjacent to the Clubhouse Chalet. The complex features a toddler pool, a lap pool and an activity pool with a slide and diving board and is beautifully landscaped with several multi-tiered sun decks.
If complete relaxation is in store, stroll to the prestigious Tamarack Club and enjoy ‘The Falling Waters Spa’ and ‘John Harvard’s’ restaurant and lounge. Spa guests are welcome to use the indoor/outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna and exercise room at the Tamarack Club.
In the spring, summer and fall the basement is available to rent for an additional $50. It has a queen bed, a set of bunks, a kitchenette and a small sitting area with TV.

March Break Family Fun!

We loved the townhouse! its more updated than I expected! Granite counters, very cozy family room and all the furnishings were great! The layout really serves well for families with kids, lots of beds and seperated spaces. The main floor master was surprisingly quiet when our kids were upstairs making noise with friends...so parents had plenty of sleep! The teenage boys were able to walk to and from the hill at their own leisure! The 2 younder tween girls had the loft to themselves and the hill is family friendly for them to enjoy skiing on their own. Happy to give a strong review on this unit! We really enjoyed it & we are pretty picky! Location offers really great views of the hill although not right on the hill its very close!

Perfect Stay While Skiing at Holiday Valley

Beautiful View of the ski hills of Ellicottville. Great location and perfectly equipped. The owner was great to deal with, very smooth booking process. A group of 8 adults stayed at the condo for 2 nights and it was just the right size. Can't wait to go back and stay next year for our annual ski trip - plan to stay even longer.

Great view, very convenient location, loved the wood-burning fireplace. Owner was excellent to work with and made the process easy. Did not have to fuss with a land management / RE company to check in, etc. All we had to do was show up at the door. Highly recommended.

Family Christmas get away

Fortunately the snow dance worked and we arrived to 14 inches of fresh powder. The location, was perfect and our grown family of 6 adults were more than comfortable. The wood burning fireplace and the view of the hill were two favourites. The well stocked kitchen was used for breakfast, lunch and one dinner. Had we not been so close to the hill it would have been ski hill dining, so we saved money on that feature alone. Without question we would return and in our many trips to Ellicottville this was the nicest property.

Fun Filled Weekend With the Girls

What a fantastic chalet - beautiful and clean as well as modern - with everything we needed. The view of the hills was amazing and was a perfect place for our girls' weekend. There were 7 of us altogether and we were very comfortable. We felt at home immediately and had the appies and wine flowing. We had paid the full amount for the weekend, expecting there to be snow. However the resort was not open due to lack of snow and Cheryl refunded our money -so we only paid the cheaper rate - Amazing! I totally recommend this property - amazing location and ambiance (We actually walked into the town for a few drinks in the evening) Thanks Cheryl - we may make this an annual event! Susie

Fall Fest Vacation Rental

Great Spot in Ellicottville!

We stayed here from August 27-30, 2012 and had a great time. There were 4 of us (all adults) plus our little dog. The condo is a great location, just across the street from the main chalet at Holiday Valley Resort and minutes away from the village of Ellicottville. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything you could ever need on your vacation. We loved the deck with great views of the ski hills and golf course. Cheryl was always an email away and she responded to all of my questions very quickly. I would definitely rent this property again if we were to return to Ellicottville.

Awesome view of the ski slopes and golf course and the access to the Tamarak Spa was perfect and so close it was the absolute perfect spot for our annual girls getaway! We had this chalet booked from March 15-17, 2012. However, given the unusually warm weather we've had this winter, when it came down to taking our vacation there was little snow (mostly slush) and the tubing park had been closed for the season. We were intending on going anyway since we had already paid and the kids (and ourselves) were looking forward to getting away for the end of the March Break, but weren't entirely sure what we were going to do with no snow at a ski resort!!! In the end, I received a call from the owner a few days prior to our scheduled departure date volunteering to give us ALL of our money back (even the security deposit). She mentioned that she wouldn't feel right about having us go to Ellicottville, pay all the money and not be able to ski. I was shocked!!! At the end of the day, the weather is beyond anyone's control and I assumed we'd get stuck going. Instead, I graciously accepted the offer, got our money back and headed to a water park for 3 days. Although we didn't end up visiting the property and experiencing all of it's wonderful amenities, we are definately planning on booking again next year while keeping our fingers crossed for a better (colder) winter.

This chalet is really well placed - close enough the lifts to walk and far enough away to see them from the windows or deck. We had 5 adults and 3 children for three nights and found it comfortable and amenable. Kitchen is nicely outfitted and washrooms more than adequate. Easy parking at the unit is nice treat.

The townhouse was in very good condition. The furniture was comfortable and provided ample sleeping arrangements for our family. The kitchen had all the necessities. I like that the owners had board games and movies for us to use after a long day at the slopes. The slopes were within walking distance with our 4 children but we did use the shuttle service a couple of times - everything was very convenient. We look forward to coming back again!

The location is perfect. We had stayed at other places in EVL, but had to drive to the hill. Here, our kids got up and walked to the lift themselves while we enjoyed a morning coffee. Loved the night-time view, watching the skiers on the lit-up hill. Thanks, it was a great vacation.
