Warm, inviting cabin to experience the North Georgia mountains in! Cozy fireplace, loft, kitchen with all appliances. EXTREMELY PRIVATE AND CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE ONE OF THE BEST MOUNTAIN VIEWS IN COOSAWATTEE. One master has 4-poster queen, other master has brass queen. 3 decks offering seclusion and incredible long range mountain views. Hot tub is situated to experience a 'big sky' view at night. Close to amenities including indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis, mini-golf, game room. DSL internet, and DirecTV with showtime and NFL package. TV's in each BR and in loft. Aside from the incredible mountain views, the Coosawattee River is below cabin and you can hear the whitewater rushing towards Carter's Lake.

Located within Coosawattee River Resort, Away High Away is just a short walk to the Rec Center. Close to Ellijay and great antiquing, tubing, kayaking. Short drive to Carter's Lake for great fishing. Appalachian Trail is an easy drive. Ellijay is the mountain biking capital of Georgia. Enjoy fall leaf peeping and the Ellijay Apple Festival. Away High Away is at the top of Eagle Mountain. 90 miles from the center of Atlanta and an easy interstate drive north to Ellijay and the cool mountain breezes.

We had a relaxing time at the cabin. Our family enjoyed the comfy atmosphere, the view of the mountains off the back deck and the evenings next to the fireplace all cuddled together. We had a chance to visit the nearby hiking trails and invigorating waterfalls. Our most favorite was the local pumpkin patch where we got some beautiful pictures of our kids. Memories for our family forever...thank you!

We stayed at this lovely cabin with family for our 2006 Christmas celebration and we enjoyed it so much we have since stayed there twice. This cabin is very charming and has the most spectacular mountain views. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub. There are porches on each level and lots of windows which provide a perfect vista of the magnificant sunsets. This cabin met all of our needs. It was clean, new and very accomodating. It is also located near the recreation center where my husband and I enjoyed daily workouts and an occasional tennis match. I highly recommend this cabin, and we plan on visiting again and again!

and ended up renting the place for 5 incredible months! It's obviously my favorite place to be! It's the most private cabin in the area, beautifully furnished, gorgeous sunrises, incredible views! Lots of birds, bunnies, deer! Do yourself a favor! Find this place! :)

The area is beautiful, picaresque and quiet and the cabin is very comfortable and clean with it's traditional country furnishings. You are central to visit other areas as well such North Carolina and Tennessee. The perfect place to escape your stress and relas.

I have stayed at this cabin more than once, the morning sunrise over the mountains is spectacular. There is so much to do in the area but we found ourselves just "chillin out" on the decks or in the hot tub. Do yourselves a favor, we did and enjoyed every minute of our stay
