Description of the Ellijay vacation cabin rental
Beautifully designed and decorated, there are heart pine floors through out. The great room has a stone fireplace, comfortable leather furniture, satellite TV, stereo and windows that provide a fantastic view of the river. The fully equipped kitchen features a stone island with cook top and hickory cabinetry. The two master bedrooms each feature a queen size bed, and deck.
The loft has a queen size bed and two singles, with a balcony and a sitting/game area. The two bathrooms have a oversized walk in shower and soaker tub. The game room features a custom bar with refrigerator and sink, pool table, satellite TV and stereo. The 8'-0 wide wrap around deck provides a great place to grill a meal and spend time enjoying the view and sound of the river. Last but not least, enjoy the hot tub under the stars on it's own elevated deck and beautiful view.
This place has it all. Come enjoy what nature has to offer. Truly a mountain paradise retreat!
Area Information
The town of Ellijay has a newer area that provides familiar resturants, a movie theater and shopping, then there is the original town square that is surrounded by Mom and Pop resturants and shops. For golfers, there is Whitepath G.C., a beautiful mountain course with a driving range. For wine lovers, there are several wineries in the Dalonega area, including Three Sisters Vineyards, Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Frogtown Cellars. There is also the Swan, an old fashioned drive-in in Blue Ridge.

The Cabin at River Rock was amazing!! It was delightfully decorated, spacious and the kitchen was equipped with every appliance you could imagine. The cabin was tucked away on a dead end road which was very private and quaint. The sound of the water rushing down the river was very relaxing. My kids and mother enjoyed fishing just feet away from the cabin. The two hugh wrap around porches provided alot of space for my entire family to have there own space. I suggest you get all your supplies before you get there because you will not want to leave. We really enjoyed our Christmas vacation in this cabin. I can't wait to book my next trip!!!

What a Wonderful Place

This is one of the most beautiful cabins we have stayed in. My family rents a cabin every year, sometimes a couple of times a year, and this is by far one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in. You have everything you could want. Good weather or bad, this cabin is comfortable and beautiful. Cold nights you can stay inside and play pool or relax in the comfy living room next to the fire and read a good book or watch a movie. The river is beautiful and right out the door. We didn't catch any fish (we didn't try that hard) but just sitting by the water on the huge rocks was heavenly. It feels like you're a million miles away but it's actually just a short ride in to town for dinner and shopping. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Quiet, relaxing, private

The property was very nice. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a peaceful mountain vacation. It sits on a large section of private land that encompasses over 300 miles of small gravel roads. This cabin is literally in the middle of the woods, and right on the river. There is a path that leads into the woods just behind the house... Large enough for atvs or dirtbikes. The property is the very last one at the end of a dead end road, so theres no traffic driving by at all. There are a couple properties close to this one however much of the view is blocked by foliage so theres plenty of privacy. The relaxing sound of rushing water, really creates peaceful background noice at night. Plus there are three different swings scattered around the three levels of porch. The only problem i had was the terrain to get to this property is very windy, small steep gravel roads. Make sure you have a vehicle that can handle the steep grades and the loose toad conditions. Other than that... The place was awesome and our two dogs, bear and buddy, had a great time too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. We spent the week with our college and high school age kids. They loved the pool table and enjoying the river right out front! It was such a pleasure to rent and the owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Looking forward to planning another trip!

Perfect!!!! The lodge was fantastic. It is located in an amazing resort on a beautiful river. The lodge itself was even more beautiful than the online pictures and the owners were very nice and helpful. We did not get tired of seeing deers every day and hearing the tranquil sounds of the river waters. If you are simply looking for a relaxing peaceful vacation this is the place and if you are looking for a vacation filled with the opportunity for excitement this is the place. Beautiful Spacious Cabin

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and it couldn't have been a better experience. Everything you needed was there. The cabin was very spacious for the 5 of us with room plenty of extra room. We loved the fireplace along with the firepit outside. The river was absolutely beautiful and I don't think I've seen so many deer. We'll be back again!!! Thank you Brad and Ellen!!!

River Rock Vacation

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Rock cabin. The fishing was very good, and the kids liked wading and swimming in the Coosawattee River. The cabin is beautiful and complete with everything we needed to feel right at home. I especially enjoyed relaxing in the swings and listening to the sounds of nature all around me.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed! We sat out on the deck in the mornings for coffee and by the fire at night! The river was beautiful and we could not have asked for better weather! We will be recommending this house to all we know that would like to spend some time in the mountains. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your home! A bit of advice if you want to float down the river do not drop in at the Legion it is almost a 6 hour float from there to the house. Very relaxing but long!

My family stayed here during July. We had an awesome time and the house was absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed was here and the amenities were perfect. We had a ball tubing down the river behind the house. We would recommend this house to anyone!
