Description of the Ellijay vacation cabin rental

Situated on the beautiful Tickanetley River you will find our cabin a relaxing escape. The cabin offers privacy with spectular views of the Chattahoochee National Forest. You can step off the porch and test your skills in the river that is home to a variety of browns, rainbows and native brookies. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. 1 king and 1 queen in the bedrooms, living room has a 42 inch HD TV and master has a 32 inch HD TV with Direct TV, Internet with WIFI, fully furnished kitchen, and a laundry room. French doors open to the deck overlooking the river.. Abundant wildlife with deers, bears, and turkeys. Sitting on 2 acres. 75 cleaning fee 100 refundable security deposit.

Ellijay is the Apple Capital of Georgia. Travel along Highway 52 to visit many Apple Barns, Amicalola Falls with 729 feet of waterfalls, Blue Ridge railway, Petting Farms, Dahlonega panning for Gold, Home of the Apple Festival, Local Antiquing, just 80 miles from Atlanta.

God's Country!

Wanted to relax with the family and this cabin exceeded expectations.Super clean and completely stocked. No unscheduled shopping runs as everything was already provided for us. Family of four, two boys, 12 and 16 and we all stayed entertained. Loads of seating on the porch overlooking a clear trout stream (literally within feet), banked by a beautiful pasture. Caught quite a few monster trout (rainbow & black) which was fun for all and quite tasty. Woke up Easter morning in time to watch the sun come up over the mountain backdrop. Seemed to fit the spirit of the day as there was no doubt that we were in God's Country!

Tinker Cabin Get-A-Way

We had a great week at the Tinker Cabin in Ellijay Georgia. We look forward to going back in the near future. We fell in love with the place, nice decor, very clean, the cabin is right beside the rushing waters. I must say, we had the most relaxing vacation ever. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a nice get-a-way. I rate this cabin the highest possible. The price is very reasonable.

Carmen was very helpful with clear directions to the cabin. It was just what we were looking for with the beautiful creek just off a large porch. The cabin was clean and the kitchen very well stocked with more than we had in other places and very cozy but enough room. The peace and quiet was priceless. Also pet friendly, which meant a lot to us. Ed loved trout fishing in your creek.

What an incredible place!!! My fiancee' and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at this cabin. We were lucky enough to get 4 inches of snow while we were there.....the place looked like a postcard! The incredibly comfortable cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay and we're already planning a return visit in the spring. You can't help but relax and unwind up there....Carmen and Ricky have a wonderful place and from the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and right at home. Can't wait to get back up there for some more R&R!!

Peaceful and relaxing

I went to Elijay for a week of training and opted for a cabin vs. hotel. Loved every minute of the trip. This made it possible for my mother and son to come along and enjoy the week. They loved the fishing and it was great my son actually caught a fish. Carmen has the place decorated very nicely. Very roomy cabin for a family to enjoy. the evenings listening to the stream while playing cards on the deck was a highlight to our trip. Plenty of patio furniture to enjoy the stream. Fully furnished kitchen and linens. Even with the training I had to attend I still thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. only a 16 minute ride into downtown elijay, very secluded cabin.but roads to the cabin were great. Very Very relaxing Place to stay. Hopefully we will get to visit again. can't wait.

What can I say? I absolutely love your "little piece of Heaven"! I love the trout stream off the front porch. The sound of the flow is is so relaxing. The cabin is decorated so beautifully. I love where it sits and the sceneray. We also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers thru the mountains. The fire pit is perfect for nightfall to sit around with your family and friends. If it were my cabin, I would not hesitate to live there! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. I cant wait til we can visit again!

We spent the weekend, me and my wife and our three children, and had a great time. We really enjoyed the fishing and the privacy. Sitting on the porch and listening to the stream will make you want to stay a week or two. Take groceries with you when you go so you can cook there and spend more time in this peaceful setting. Owners were very helpful and willing to offer what we needed. Cabin was very clean which was very important to us. Again, very enjoyable stay. My two boys are already planning another trip there to do more fishing. They want to catch more big trout,
