Cottage is in Otis, Maine, twenty minutes from Ellsworth, the "Gateway to Acadia", offering convenient shopping including LL Bean outlet. Forty minutes from Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, and Schoodic Point and close to other downeast destinations. Thirty minutes from Bangor and University of Maine at Orono.
