Description of the Embden Lake vacation cabin rental

Cozy, quiet and up to date year-round cabin located at Embden Pond one of Maine's cleanest lakes reaching over 4 miles long and over 150 ft. deep. Lake views from the deck and a short walk to a sandy beach front and float make the lake ideal for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and some of the best fishing you will find in Maine. Keep your boat at your own boat slip for waterskiing and lake touring. Located at Snowshoe Village the cabin is part of a side by side condo unit and shares a common picknicking area, swimming beach & playground.

For outdoor enthusiast there are many whitewater rafting companies with in a 30 minute drive at The Forks. Hiking and mountain climbing in the Carrabasset valley region along the Appalachian Trail and Bigalow Mountain range. Wildlife site seeing in every direction. Golf at one of New Englands top courses is 35 minutes away at Sugarloaf USA, and at Lakewood Golf Club in Skowhegan. Hunters are welcome in the Fall and for the winter months the cottage sits right off of well groomed ITS trails and local trails. Ice fishing, downhill skiing at Sugarloaf USA, cross country skiing right from the cottage round out the winter activities available. For dining out & shopping there are many great restaurants and gift stores in nearby towns.

It is a very cozy cottage with all of the amenities one would wish to have while away on vacation. I would definately recommend renting this cottage to those who want piece and quiet while away from home.
