Description of the Encinitas vacation home rental

From the moment you pass through the hand crafted metal gate, down the colonnaded entry one senses tranquil serenity. Perched on the cliff 100 foot above the ocean this spacious single story artisan crafted modern home affords the opportunity to experience the overwhelming beauty of the Pacific it's wildlife and surfers, all from a safe and lovingly created environment.

One large open space ( 40 feet by 18 feet) includes the cobalt blue gourmet kitchen ,dinning area and anchoring the other end , the comfortable living room with its red leather reclining sofa and chairs. A gas fire place fire provides warmth and atmosphere should the weather turn a little gray. A full entertainment unit is decretory concealed in one corner. High speed internet connection and cable tv are included.
Almost thirty feet of glazing allow one to gaze upon the magnificent view as well as providing access to the tiled patio with its teak furniture and out door dinning area. A few steps lead to a intimate sitting area on the edge of the bluff .

A spacious hallway connects to the two comfortable bedrooms , each with there own bougainvillea colored bathrooms. Leading from these two rooms via sliding doors is a protected patio with four person hot tub,from where one can enjoy the sound and sight of the ocean.

The third bedroom with its on bathroom is situated in a separate building adjacent to the house. It looks into a lush tropical courtyard soothed with its own water feature. Laundry facilities are provided in this structure.

An outdoor wash -off area and clothes line are handy when returning from visits to the beach. The beach is 10 minutes walk in either direction or two minutes by car.

Neighborhood:
Encinitas is a relaxed beach community that offers good restaurants, multiple yoga studios, beautiful uncrowded beaches for walking, surfing and swimming. It’s a short drive to LegoLand and 25 miles to down-town San Diego (including SeaWorld, art museums, the zoo) . Our neighborhood is very warm and friendly with many families. Our street (Neptune Avenue) runs along the bluff above the ocean and is used for rollerblading, bicycling and jogging. There are several beach accesses within walking distance. Spectacular ocean views, on warm nights with the windows are open you can hear the waves crashing on the shore. From our house it is a short walk to a popular coffee house and restaurants. A longer walk (1/2 mile) will get you to our downtown with shopping and eating and access to our coastal train service. There are several surf shops locally that will rent surf and boogie boards.
