We had a great time renting this home and were blown away at it's size. The master bedroom is phenomenal. Enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub and having cocktails next to the fire pit!

The house is spacious, well equipped, and offers plenty of outside living space besides the pool. It is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Moonlight beach. The owner was easy to work with, communicated promptly, and was very helpful. I would not hesitate to book this home again.

We stayed with our grown children who loved walking into town to explore the fun shops, restaurants and bars. Encinitas has a lot to offer and the house is so close to everything that it is a perfect base. Everything was as shown and exceeded our expectations, lovely home, garden, pool and spa. We enjoyed a day in Del Mar at the races and it is very convenient to get there by Coaster. The station is a short distance from the house and we also rode down to San Diego for more exploring. It was fun to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day in the backyard or to sit overlooking the ocean by Moonlight Beach which is really a great spot. We will return for another vacation in this tropical paradise.
Owner response:We're so happy you enjoyed our home. Being so close to the Coaster is nice, gets you downtown to Little Italy or the Gaslamp, or over to the Del Mar Race Track in a jiffy. Come back!

We had a very nice stay at this beautiful home. Everything we could want! The Kitchen especially was very well stocked even little extras we didn't expect. There were 9 of us, including 3 children, and there was plenty of room for us to all spread out. There were more than enough towels, bedding, soap, paper goods, plates, cups etc, unlike many other rental homes we've stayed at. My only complaint was that the week we stayed wasn't long enough. There was so much to do nearby, great restaurants, cute stores, and Moonlight Beach is a perfect family beach. The kids loved the playground and we even had a campfire at the beach one evening. First time everyone was entertained. and got along. YEAH . The house was very clean and comfortable, including nice touches like live indoor plants and the beautiful rose garden! We did take advantage of the clippers and vases provided, and had fresh flowers in every room. WOW The walk to the beach was easy going, but the return was a little tough, uphill. (especially for kids) Riding the bikes was a nice way to get some exercise and explore the area. Because the house is on a large lot, it is very private and quiet. Overall, just a very nice, relaxing vacation!
Owner response:Thanks Kathleen, we are always delighted to hear that our guests enjoyed their vacation. Glad that our house was the perfect choice for your San Diego get-away. I am especially pleased that you enjoyed the rose garden and took advantage of the vase closet! Those roses, dahlias, gladiolus, Shasta daisies, cosmos, canas, cala lillies, and foxgloves really will run amok if someone doesn't pick them! I'd love to see pictures if you took any! Hope you can come back next year! Jim and Marlene Votaw

Magical vacation for a family of 5

We stayed in Encinitas at this stunning vacation home and our stay was magical. On nice days we'd go to the beach and watch the surfers or just laze around by the beautiful pool with a good book. The garden here is breathtaking,we were able to cut fresh flowers everyday. It was so easy to grab some fish at the store and barbecue in the back yard after a day at the beach. We were walking distance from town and the library. We hardly had any time to watch the huge flat screen TV. This home was perfect for our family of five. We will definitely be back.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate it!
