Other Vacation Rental Amenities
Manasota Key is a barrier island off the coast of Englewood, Florida where we have no high-rise buildings & traffic lights, just a two-lane road and great beaches.
Manasota Key has several beaches on the island. Manasota Beach and Blind Pass Beach both offer a variety of amenities. Manasota Beach boasts 14 acres of gulf front beach and sand dunes with special areas for sheltered tables, barbecue pits, boardwalks and bathhouse facilities. Blind Pass Beach is ideal for swimming and fishing and has more than 60 acres of nature trails. There's a docking area for boaters on the Intra Coastal Waterway. Englewood Beach offers recreation areas, boardwalk, picnic tables, and concession stands as well as conveniently located
nearby restaurants, shops, and nightclubs.
Walking south from Englewood Beach is Stump Pass Beach, a narrow strip of sand that offers anglers a great place to fish. Englewood is a community, set comfortably
on an area straddling two counties, harbored by several small islands and magnificent beaches in a tropical setting.

Englewood is a beach community that thrives on its cultural events, nature parks, beaches, fishing, boating, and so much more. Located on beautiful Lemon Bay, off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, Englewood is just a short 85 mile trip away from Tampa Bay, 50 miles north of Fort Myers, and only 35 miles south of Sarasota.Englewood is easily accessible from U.S. Route 41 or Interstate 75.
Just a few things to see and do
Shark Teeth that usually come ashore after a storm. Some of these shark teeth are over a million years old, black and brown colored, ranging from a tiny 1/8th inch to three inches long. Celebrated every Labor Day Weekend, Englewood
commemorates the pioneers who were responsible for its origin in 1896.

Golf and fishing tournaments, boat races and a huge parade bring this community to life. Other annual celebrations include an Art Guild Show, Seafood Festival, July
Beach Bash with Fireworks, as well as the annual Turtle Watch when Sea Turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in the sand.

Paradise found

April 8, 2014

The house was immaculate, well stocked. Perfect for a week of fishing with some old friends. There was everything you could ask for. And corn hole boards. Almost changed our focus when the fishing was down to corn hole tournaments. We cleaned up and put everything back where we found it. I will definitely be staying here again, later in the year when the greenies and bait migrates in a little better. Not too long a run out of Angier creek, just remember no t-tops low bridges. Friendly neighbors as well. Great spot!! Loved it.

Enjoyed Our Stay

February 15, 2011

We totally enjoyed our stay in your home in Englewood. The house was very clean and stalked with just about anything you can imagine. We like to walk and there was plenty of side streets to walk on. It was just a short drive to the beach, and the parking pass and access to the restrooms right off the beach was wonderful. We will definitely considered your house in the future if ever in the area. Thank you for everything. M&M
