Description of the Punta Banda vacation cottage rental

This charming beach cottage is located in the quiet secure seaside community of Punta Banda, along a beautiful sandy 6 mile beach on the bay across from Ensenada. A short two minute, 200 yard walk brings you to the waters edge where the natural entertainment provided by seabirds, seals and maybe even a migrating whale is a fabulous bonus of this area.

Our SUPER CLEAN, freshly painted and decorated cottage offers a comfortable open livingroom/kitchen floor plan which allows everyone to enjoy the entire area together. Direct-TV, DVD,VCR and video library available for all to use. The cozy fireplace warms up a cool evening.
The fully stocked kitchen Includes a stove/oven, microwave
oven, toaster, coffeemaker and dishwasher.

The master bedroom has a queensize bed and full bathroom with large step in shower. The second bedroom also has a full bathroom, and two twin beds.
The livingroom has a fold-out sleeper couch that would be great for kids. All rooms have overhead fans.

The outside front patio come complete with table and chairs under the umbrella, a gas BBQ and fun firepit for gatherings and making smores... YUM!

The fenced yard is great for children and pets. Small additional deposit and approval requested for pets.

Located away from the camping area, our cottage is the perfect place for quiet privacy, but still close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing on the sand.

Just 8 miles away is the World Famous La Bufadora,(one of only 4 or 5 in the world)a natural sea cave that sends the waves shooting up to 50ft in the air in a spectaculsr show of cascading water on to the rocks above. A MUST SEE! The open air shopping, great restaurants and lively bars are a lot of fun too.

Nearby,Ensenada(approximately 15 miles)is a great place to find shopping, museums, art galleries, fabulous resaurants and taco stands. Home of the Ensenada style fish taco-A GREAT CULINARY CREATION!

A great day trip for wine lovers is Valle de Guadelupe, approx. 90 min.away, hosts some 30 wineries, many offering tours and tasting. Additional information avaiable upon request.

Sportfishing charters available just 5 minutes away with local fishermen or at the marina in Ensenada.

The weather in Punta Banda is similar to San Diego-averageing 82 in summer, 64 to 70 in winter.

Building your best sand castle, boogie boarding in the waves or just reading a good book by the shore- Punta Banda is a wonderful place to spend some special time.

The cottage is very nice and confortable. The beach is very close. The water is very warm and transparent. Some parts of the beach camp are in bad conditions and somewhat depressing. It was very disappointing that the tennis court could not be used. There was no gym/exercise room.  more...
