Charming Twin Owls Cottage, Circa 1923, Estes Park, CO. Completely updated inside. Beautifully landscaped outside. For those vacationers who are not comfortable with a feeling of isolation, convenient in-town location with quaint cottages located nearby. Two blocks from Elkhorn Avenue (main street through downtown Estes Park), walk to downtown Estes Park. 3 miles from Fall River Road entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. WIFI, Living room with satellite flat-screen TV, three bedrooms, 2 baths, family room with satellite flat-screen TV, laundry room, queen size bed in master bedroom, a bunk bed and twin bed in bedroom 2 and two twin beds in bedroom 3. Single sleeper sofa in the family room. Cottage sleeps up to 8 comfortably. Wood-burning fireplace in living room with firewood included, hardwood floors, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. All bedding, linens and towels furnished. Watch the deer and elk graze in the backyard. Fabulous views of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and the Stanley Hotel. For those of you who love to hike and enjoy the wonders of nature, Rocky Mountain National Park is a couple of miles down the road. Trailheads with miles of hiking trails. Enjoy the crystal clear mountain lakes, streams and waterfalls. Gaze upon herds of majestic elk, moose, deer and Rocky Mountain Sheep. You may be lucky and see foxes, wolves, bears and even the elusive mountain lion. Have fun with the children and spend an afternoon at the amusement park that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Relax in one of the many parks or at one of the outdoor cafes. With downtown Estes Park just a short walk away, and Rocky Mountain National Park just up the road, there are countless activities. There is also an amusement park in Estes Park for family fun, that is open during the summer season. Trout fishing, hiking, exploring or just relaxing. So much to do or do nothing at all. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, sit by the fire. Estes Park also has many festivals all year around. Elk bugling in the Fall, mid-September through mid-October and the Christmas Light Parade are two of my favorite activities. Contact owner for weekly/monthly rates.

This delightful cottage has all the comforts of home, plus the quaint town of Estes Park and the beautiful Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. My children loved the family room downstairs with their own flat screen TV and all of the games that are stocked in the TV console upstairs. We played games until 1:00 a.m.! And then we slept in the beds that were soooo comfortable! We walked into town and shopped until we almost dropped. Good thing that the cottage isn't far from town and we were able to walk home. The cottage is light and bright and the decor is perfect. We also hiked in the Park and got to see lots of elk and deer. No bears! I think they must be in hibernation. Anyway, we'll be back. We absolutely loved this place and for sure, we'll stay at Twin Owls Cottage again.

Comfortable beds, in fact, if I had one complaint, it would be that my girlfriend sleeps until 10:00 a.m. The day is half over by then! The peace and quiet, along with the too comfortable beds, make for a great night's sleep! My friend loved the beautiful area rug in the living room and asked if you would miss it?:)

I went to pick up my friend on Wednesday from the airport and we arrived back at the cottage, there were two beautiful bull elk still with antlers right by the cottage. What an arrival for my friend!

At Twin Owls Cottage, I appreciated the incredible and cozy Christmas decorations, the space and room for the whole family and how comfortable the beds are. How close it is to the Rocky Mountain National Park. The snowball fight in the backyard, sledding, snowboarding, cross country skiing and the snow shoeing at the Hidden Valley.
