Vacation Rental Description

This special house is located walking distance to downtown Estes Park. It is a unique location because it is also walking distance to great hiking. It is nestled in the pine trees in a very quiet spot amidst enormous 15-20 foot boulders of granite. Our new cedar and iron wrap around decl creates wonderful outdoor living to sit and listen to the rustle of the pine trees and smell the clean mountain air.

There is a large open gourmet kitchen equipped with a stainless steel convection oven, new appliances, and a huge cooking island that has a built in grill and griddle. The kitchen also boasts two sinks.
There is a wall of windows that reveals the great views of the rocks and pine trees. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals for a big crowd. There is a large beautiful dining table that comfortably seats eight.

To the delight of children there is a huge beanbag chair that miraculously unzips into a fun full sized bed for kids. There is a special spot in the living room reserved for kids. The ''''''Bear Cave '''''' is a nook in the living room that is filled with toys and pillows. Children love it and it gives them a fun hiding spot as well. We have everything you will need to be comfortable with children. We have a Kelty backpack for hiking, full-sized crib, changing table, baby monitor, night-lights, tons of toys, outlet covers, children ''''''s dvds, a jog stroller, chalk board, games, puzzles and more. We have a two year old and are committed to providing all the kid gear for children so their parents can actually relax.

The beds at Granite Lane are all new pillow topped and extremely comfortable. The bedding is luxurious and the sheets are 300-thread count. The large sunny master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, high window cut outs (that are amazing to watch the night time stars through). There is also a sliding glass door that opens out onto the large new deck. A second bedroom has a new queens sized bed, great new furniture and is accessed through French doors. The third bedroom also has all new furnishings, luxury bedding and a full sized crib and a dresser that can be used as a changing table.

The living room is beautifully decorated with 12-foot ceilings and a gas fireplace. It is great to sit in the huge bay window seat and look out on to the beautiful mountainside. There is a sleeper sofa with a queen-sized bed (with a very comfortable thick mattress). We also have a futon chair that opens into a twin-sized bed. We have a great selection of DVD ''''''s and a large TV. We have loads of games, puzzles and bubbles.

Our vacation home has windows everywhere you look. The beauty of the outdoors permeates every room. Off of the dining room is a brick patio nestled near the large rocks. There is a new stainless steel grill that will grill more burgers at once than your family will be able to eat. There is a huge new deck that wraps around the backside of the house. It has great views and is a great place to listen to the stillness. Our vacation home has all the details you want in a great place to spend some time in the Rockies.

This house is very close great hiking at Lumpy Ridge and Twin Owls accessed through a historically preserved ranch. Granite Lane is a rare jewel in Estes Park. It is gorgeous on the inside with a location that will charm you and remind you how amazing nature is. It is so quiet and yet close to town. The perfect combination!
