Description of the Estes Park vacation home rental

This recently remodeled (2008) "envelope" vacation home is the only one of its kind in the area, located right in the middle of Estes Park, near the eighteen hole golf course. Designed to take advantage of cross breezes in the summer and warming sun in the winter from the floor to ceiling south facing windows, it is energy efficient year round. Perched on the hillside, it has clear mountain and lake views. Very quiet and comfortable with lots of birds, deer and elk visiting frequently.

The main level has the master bedroom (with king size bed and luxury linens, television, ceiling fan, humidifier), bathroom, laundry, kitchen with stainless/granite/cherry that opens into the living room with fireplace, dining room and upper exterior and interior decks. The lower level features walk-out sliding doors, interior deck with sitting area, two bedrooms and one full bath (with makeup mirror and blow dryer). Each bedroom has individually controlled heat and ceiling fans. One of those bedrooms sleeps 4, the other sleeps 2. Also on the lower level is the great room with wood burning stove, vaulted ceilings, slab granite wetbar with microwave and ice maker, double doors to yard, television/DVD player, pool table, piano and spiral stairs back up to main level. There is a two car garage with opener, horseshoes and bicyles for our guests' use. High speed internet available. Bring your notebook computer.

Home to Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park has a variety of amenities and outdoor activities year round.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very spacious and nice and it was great to be able to grill and cook meals. We had such a good time. Our son enjoyed having his "own" area in the downstairs living room. Made his vacation!!
