Description of the Eureka vacation home rental

This is a two story Victorian Farmhouse built in 1910. It has been renovated to offer all the necessary conveniences yet still retains the original charm. There are ocean views from the four upstairs bedrooms, a wrap-around porch and a beautiful yard with large trees, benches, picnic tables and chairs scattered throughout the property allowing you to relax and enjoy this unique area. The home is extremely private yet only two minutes from 101. A wonderful house for family reunions, joint family vacations as well as corporate housing for those wanting the amenities of home while working out of town. The one downstairs bedroom has an adjacent bathroom making it invaluable for people with mobility issues. Washer and dryer in separate laundry room, two phones, two TVs with cable, one with internet service, and a DVD player. The home comfortably sleeps 10.. We have added carriage lights, brick walkways, an arbor and more. This property is a work in progress done with love and careful consideration to the past as well as what will make tenants comfortable today. We also have another option where the bottom half can be rented, which works well for a couple wanting to get away, yet still feel like you are in cozy surroundings, home away from home.As mentioned above, the bottom half consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed, with connecting full bath. Adjoining is the kitchen, and a large living room. There is a wrap around porch, with laundry facilities, and a large yard with picnic tables. Winter rates are $150 for two. Summer rates and holidays, are $175 per night for two, 2 night minimum. regular rates. holidays $175, this would be for two. .

Area Information

The home is located in a area known as Pine Hill, on the south end of Eureka. It was once covered in Pine trees and still retains a strong feel of country. There is a large horse pasture to the left of the house and a fence on the right continues the feeling of privacy the home offers. Behind the house is fencing and an old red barn can be seen from the side yard. This is truly a one of a kind of property that you will fall in love with once you visit. For walkers, take a right, cross over the overpass, you also can drive your car and leave it in the parkand ride. You then proceed toward the ocean, where there is the new Hikshan trail. It is a 1.5 mile trail, winding along the elk river estuary and thru the Elk River wildlife sanctuary. users can bike, walk, rollerblade, stroll, or paddle among coastal willow patches, sand dune system, saltlmarsh and riverine habitat.The trail takes you to shamus T-bone Restaurant, rays food mart, marie callenders, mcdonalds, and bayshore mall.
Its a nice 3 mile walk altogether.

Other Fees: Winter nightly rates are $300 for 1-4 people,each additional person is $25 per night. Summer rates start april thru jan 2014. $350 for 1-4 people. $25 for every additional person..Children under 5 are free. Pets are $25 each,per stay, with a limit of 2, at the owners discretion. a cleaning fee is charged dependent on number in party, and length of stay. The damage deposit is refundable and is also determined on the amount of people.

This beautiful house with it's beautiful gardens was the perfect place for our family to gather for a memorial. We were so comfortable, the owner Diana did not missed a single detail, there are even houseplants! She lives right on the property but was not intrusive in the least. Nice and Open

We had plenty of room for the 8 of us, from the kitchen to the living room it was all open, great for our family gathering. Even in the kitchen you don't feel left out. Our dog was very happy too. The only down fall was the busy road out front. But it was so easy to find and close off the Hwy. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was very nice and comfy. I just loved the way it is decorated! This was a good find!

I actually live here in Eureka but, my family rented this charming house so they could all stay comfortably together while they were in town for my wedding. Everyone that stayed at the Bella Rose traveled a long ways. Half of the fam came out from NY and the other half from So Cal or Seattle area. It was just what we all needed a homey, fully furnished, clean place. Everyone felt right at home. We all had such a great time! They alo allowed my cousin to bring his pup.Thanks again, Bella Rose.

Business Trip Accomodations Were Great

June 29, 2010

Traveled to Eureka on business and didn't want to stay in the regular hotels. My partner and my 2 4-legged kids accompanied me. THANK GOODNESS FOR OWNERS THAT ARE PET FRIENDLY!!! When you travel with your pets, you can bet you'll leave the property looking better than when you arrived, as it is most appreciated that they are welcome in the first place! We rented the bottom floor only, as we didn't have a need for all of the bedrooms upstairs. It was cozy and comfortable, and provided all the accomodations that we needed (except a bit short on TP:^) The washer/dryer was a very nice detail as was the fully stocked kitchen. Charming art work was placed throughout the house and the couches in the living room were extremely comfortable. The fireplace heater was very homey. Although a bit more than state-rate, we splurged and had a great time. Now if Eureka could only figure out a way to get more sunshine! That would be perfect!

Our family spent Christmas at Bella Rose House. It was decorated with something special in every room. They knew my grandchildren were going to be there so there were two large Teddy Bears with treats at the end of the twin beds where they slept. We brought a few of our decorations for the tree, ate, played games and all woke up Christmas morning together and cooked a big turkey dinner. We spent a few more nights enjoying the house and each other. I recommend the Bella Rose House for Christmas or any time. It is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is fully equipped and you feel at home almost from the minute you get there. We were here for two weeks for work and the house was just beautiful and completely accomodating. The living quarters were so homey and relaxing. Love the ammenities in the kitchen. Had everything for baking and cooking. Love the beds and decor. Very comfortable. The floral arrangements were very special. Loved that touch! Enjoyed the geese in the field next door, Wasn't until the third day that I noticed they were not real!! Ha! Great! Our family spent four nights in the Bella Rose for my brothers week-end graduation from Humboldt State. We brought our grandmother who is confined to a wheelchair. The house is set up so she had her own bedroom and bathroom downstairs next to each other which made it possible for her to come to this special event with us. When we had a electrical problem on Sunday, we called the manager, went for a brief ride and when we returned it had been fixed. On a week-end! We also had a large party for my brother on Friday night with more people than I can remember, the large dining room table,combined with the beautiful yard with tables and chairs everywhere made it a night we will all remember.
