Description of the Eveleth vacation cottage rental

Newly remodeled three bedroom lake home on beatiful Ely Lake near Eveleth, Mn,. features new kitchen-family room which opens onto new wrap-around deck overlooking the lake. Two bedrooms have double beds and the third bedroom has a single bed and space for a single inflatable mattress. The house sleeps seven or eight people.

Area Description

The house sits overlooking Ely Lake which is very popular for fishing and watersports. It is in a residential area on a very quiet dead-end road. Things to do nearby include three area golf courses, ATV trails, bike trails, The U. S. Hockey Hall of Fame, The Wellstone Memorial, Ironworld, mine tours, and the Virginia Mall and shopping are just a few miles away. The Eveleth-Virginia Airport is 3 miles away. Also just 5 miles away, is the famous Whistling Bird restaurant. (Jamaican fare).

Besides swimming off our new 40 ft. dock, Ely Lak has a public beach with lifeguards. Our most famous local restaurant is The Whistling Bird in Gilbert, Mn. just 5 miles away. There is gorgeous Olcott Park in Virginia, with lots of play equipment for kids and a greenhouse with beautiful flower displays.
