Home was nice and modern. Well stocked for necessities. Beach was a bit rocky for swimming. Neighborhood was in area where 85% of the local population lives so if your into a touristy area not for you but if you enjoy mingeling with the locals then is good place to check out the "real" Ohau. We watched whales from the back yard every morning and evening. The place was a good base location for setting out on travels around the island. Paradise Cove is good place for a luau. Caretaker was very friendly and happy to show us around and offer to let use his equipment for fishing, etc. that he had available. The property is close to the road and I was concerned about noise but it was very quiet in the evenings and all night, we had the windows open all the time. Great ocean breezes, beautiful yard, very peaceful.

We completely enjoyed our stay the the Paradise 111 home. It is beautiful and has everything you need. Marci the owner is very accomodating and met us at the house in the middle of the night because of our flight delay. The home is well stocked and has absolutely everything you need to have fun in Hawaii. It is also very clean and comfortable. We even had a seal spend the day on the beach. Great place to rent. If ever in Hawaii again we would definetly stay again.
Wow... anytime I need to get away I close my eyes and picture our family enjoying the most relaxing vacation we have had in many years. I must say I loved being able to get up, enjoy that cup of coffee and watch the sun come up. Spectacular views. With the fenced in yard I never worried about my childrens safety. I hope to come back to this property in years to come."
"This was my third trip to this same property! I love the serenity and location away from the tourists. It is close enough to visit the hot spots of the island, but still offers true island flair. The sound of the ocean in the master bedroom lulled me to sleep every night. On one visit, I actually was able to see the whales migrating right from the covered patio."
We loved the house inside and out.
I loved waking up and hearing the surf even at 3am (very loud)
I hope you still have the house in 5 years or so, we would love to come back.
The grounds are very nice and very well kept
We had a lovely time ( despite the interesting experience of Honolulu traffic and the entire population of Japan being here for shopping) But the weather was fabulous. The house felt like home and we thank you for your gracious hospitality. We loved having the fresh fruit and coffee and of course the macadamia nuts are always a welcome treat. It was a pleasure meeting you. Aloha!!
I just wanted to send you a quick message to let you know we LOVED the house - although the acoustics were kind of interesting ;-)
Lorin's welcome was fun and he had a lot of great local information for us. We loved every detail to the house from the winding staircase to the lovely stained glass throughout to the well-manicured yard.
Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the surf (and the myna birds & pigeons) was a wonderful way to spend our week at Paradize III and it was difficult to get used to the quiet when we got back home to Washington! I have been recommending it to anyone who is even thinking about visiting Oahu.
Thank you for everything!
