Reviews for this vacation home rental in Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii

Nice and simply home with a breathtaking view and with all you need for a relaxing vacation. Exposure to sea salt would maybe recommend a more frequent maintenance.
Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate your kind words. It is not often we have travelers from Italy. Bravo! The Leilani home is spectacular and the views are one of a kind. The home is so close to the water, it gives a feeling you are on a boat. Yes, with this comes salt water. We have had a wonderful year and our clients have kept us busy. We hope to show you a wonderful and refined Leilani shortly. We have great plans for her. and our guest.
Welcome to the ohana. Our return ohana receive specials, so well deserved. Thank you once again, as we look forward to dazzling you with our new Leilani shortly.
May the aloha last a lifetime... or at least till your return. Alohaaa!

we have loved the accomadations. little disappointed that the beach was not sandy, swimable. we were told about this beforehand. everything was clean. had snorkel equipment available. kitchen use awesome. even had some extras, re: spices, condiments, non spoilege goods. rental was easy. good communications on everything. sent us lists and lists of things to do, see, experience, and lots of hints on daily liviing. would do again except for the beach thing. thanks, Linda and Doug,
Aloha Doug and Linda,
Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate any and all comments. Yes, the beach infront of the home is so beautiful, but the location does not offer any swimming or beach activities as it is rocky on this side of Ewa Beach. Just a few blocks away we have our Lehua beach house with miles of sandy for your holiday. The Leilani is and has been one of the most desirable locations as the water is just a few feet away from your lanai.
It was our pleasure to have you at the home. Should your travels bring you back to the islands, we will always have a beach house for you.
Welcome to the ohana. Our family of vacationers means the world to us.
May your aloha last a lifetime.

Beautiful view and sunrise/sunsets.

After we got in (the door lock was a little tricky) we noticed the beautiful view. Nice spacious living/dining room area and bedrooms were a good size. Beachhouse does need some updating; nicer bathroom would be good and had to use drano once on the tub. Had an incident with an electrical outlet that shorted out and scared us, but this issue was promptly fixed. The breeze off the ocean was nice but a/c would still have been nice during the day and over suppetime. Kim was very easy to get ahold of. Wifi was included as well.

Don't let the old, worn-looking neighborhood that Leilani is located in deter you from staying there. It is an quaint older Hawaiian-style home with all of the necessaries - and right on the water! You'll sleep listening to the sound of the waves every night (no AC, but plenty of fans throughout the home). We found the neighborhood people friendly and had the added bonus of listening to Hawaiian music playing at a party on Xmas eve across the street from Leilani. Leilani is located near beaches & all the shopping you'll need/want - plus - very easy to get to the North Shore - or - west to Kapolei or Kaena Point. Also, driving into Town (Honolulu) is not hard, either. Leilani offers you Hawaiian style living, sans the crowds of tourists in Waikiki. You will truly enjoy island life when you stay at the Leilani!

We loved the house. We spent quite a bit of time sitting outside enjoying the view and watching the waves. There was a bit of a mix-up when we arrived when the unit we were supposed to be renting was still occupied. We had been switched to the opposite side but hadn't received the phone message informing us of the change. The problem was resolved after a phone call with the owner and we had no further problems after that. My only complaint with the house was that there was no air conditioning and during the day it got a bit warm. My husband would have preferred better cable TV service. Overall, we loved the house and totally enjoyed the atmosphere of being right on the water. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Hawaii.

The view was great and the beach was rocky but it was great for the waves and I could be on the rocks! Only downfall was there was no air cond. So it was hot inside but at night it dropped to 70 degrees. I would stay again and I would check out another beach house that the owner has nearby this one for the sandy beach!
Fantastic Family Fun

My husband, 2 daughters (3 and 1) and I stayed at the Puanani from Jan 6th - 14th. We had a great time. The home is what you expect it to be from a house that is 70 years old, but it is very charming and large. It was stocked well with linens and the laundry is a bonus. There was plenty of space for all of us to relax. The beach is calm, but rocky, and the sand is great for the kids. The views were amazing. You could even see the fireworks from the Hawaiian Hilton on Friday night. (though you did have to squint) lol. The drive to most destinations was also not too bad. Pretty much 30 minutes to wherever you wanted to go. All in all a great experience. Also recommend a visit to Kauila Beach. Thanks so much for being sooo accomadating! We will be back!

Wasn't prepared for the neighborhood or condition of the beach house -- but the view and access to the ocean was awesome!! The grandkids were in heaven playing on the beach, in the waves, looking for shells...and the monk seal visit. The view was spectacular! The interior of the house was comfortable and met our needs. Overall, it was a top-notched experience! Booking agent was excellent!
