Description of the Fairhope vacation guesthouse rental

This is a newly constructed 1 bedroom, 1 bath house, all electric, central heat/air, with a full kitchen complete with dishwasher, and over-the-stove microwave. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a 3/4 size daybed. Just outside the back entrance is a laundry room with covered access.

The house is surrounded by a lovely courtyard, with outside seating under a vine-covered arbor.

Fairhope boasts fine dinig and some of the best seafood restaurants on the Gulf Coast; serving fresh local seafood. Hiking trails and nature trails are everywhere on Mobile Bay and Fish River, and fresh and salt-water fishing is five minutes away. Learn about the "Jubilee" phenomenon which, in the United States, only occurs in Mobile Bay where Fairhope is located (see wedsite).
The Nix Center in Fairhope offers activities and socials daily. Check out city complex with fitness and exercise equipment, indoor pool open year-round. Golf, art academy and museum, quaint shops, public pier and marina, and the Fairhope Yacht Club. All these blend to create a unique way-of-live in the Fairhope Area.
Fairhope is endowed with many talented local artists. Many of the artists teach classes through Faulkner State Community College and ESILL (Eastern Shore Institute for Lifelong Learning).

Gulf Shores is 30 minutes away, with its sugar-white beaches and Robert Trent Jones golf courses. More fine restaurants boasting the same fresh local seafood about, and on the way to or from the beaches is Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley, Alabama, offering the ultimate shopping experience.

Enjoy a one-hour drive or take the shuttle to Missippi's spectacular casinos. Alabama's Wind Creek casino in Atmore is just an hour-drive away, and historic New Orleans is a day-trip away.

Carnival Cruise Line is "over the bay" in Mobile; just 30 minutes away to wisk one off to the islands, in variable lengths of stay. Thomas Hospital serves the community and surrounding area, and a bevy of physicians and specialists are available for healthcare needs.
