Wonderful Little Guesthouse - Perfect for 2
August 19, 2013
My sister and I spent a week in this cottage and enjoyed it immensely. We wanted something within walking distance to the beach and weren't disappointed. We did not spend a lot of time in the cottage, but it was nice and had everything we needed. The glassed-in porch was an added bonus, as we could see the ocean from one side. Jack and Joan were wonderful hosts and were very helpful with suggestions when asked, but were not nosy or intrusive. They went out of their way to help us and make our stay pleasant. I especially appreciated Joan's help on the night we arrived. First, we were much later than we had told them; secondly, I was sick and had to go to the ER. Joan gave my sister directions to the hospital and was very accommodating and helpful. Being from the south, the humidity bothered me terribly, so I would have preferred more than the one window air conditioner, but I got the bed by the window and that helped. A ceiling fan or two might be a nice touch. Other than that, we were very pleased with our rental and would heartily recommend it to others.
Nice days on the cape

We stayed here the last days of may. Guesthouse was perfect for two. Location close to the ocean is great. Enjoyed it!
Lovely place to stay

We had a wonderful stay in this guesthouse. It is larger than it appears in the pictures, and it is well-maintained and comfortable. John and Joan were very hospitable and accommodating, even providing toys and equipment for our toddler. A/C unit cools only the bedroom, but it kept us cool at night so we could sleep.

My husband and I just spent a week at the guest house and had a wonderful experience. The cottage was perfect and there was plenty of room. We brought our 18 month old granddaughter with us for a few days and she thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It was a 30 second walk to the beach, close to all the sites, very clean. The pictures are deceiving it has a beautiful screened in porch and is roomier inside than the pictures can show. Our hosts were very nice and extremely accommodating. We have already booked for next year and can't wait!!!
