The location of this property is excellent and the home is spacious enough however I have a couple of suggestions for the owner for future visitors. There should definitely be a vacuum in the home especially when the home is near the beaches and most people who rent in CC frequent the beaches. There are 3 bedrooms and only 2 had closets with no hangers. Also only 2 rooms had dressers that were falling apart and super dangerous for young children and not at all practical. Only 3 windows in the living area had screens. All other windows in the home had no screens so you couldn't get any fresh air in the bedrooms and the house smelled very musty. There were no curtains or drapes in any bedrooms. One bedroom had sliders to the backyard so you couldn't change in that room if anyone was in the yard. We had to go out and purchase pillows. The pillows in the home were flat, dirty and wore. The mattresses had no covers. They needed a good vacuum when we arrived and there wasn't one. The ad for the home indicated fully equipped kitchen however there was only one table spoon and service for 4 and only plastic cups. The furniture was very worn and spotted in the living room. The bathroom had no towel rods for holding your bath or hand towels. The room advertised in the garage had the second bathroom but that too was dirty and lots of cob webs so we didn't use it at all and kept to the only bathroom in the house. This house could be a really nice place to stay if the above issues were addressed. When you rent a house for this cost one would expect that there would be hangers, somewhere to put the clothes you unpack and decent sleeping accommodations. The comforters that were thrown on the mattresses were worn as well and ill fitting. We of course didn't think we would need to bring blankets but since they didn't provide any blankets I would suggest any renters be sure to bring those and your own pillows. WE still made sure we had a fabulous trip but we went out for dinner every night which is unusual for us. The house was not appealing to dine in and hang out at. With more attention to important details this could be a really nice place. The memorial coy pond needed a very good cleaning as well.

We enjoyed our time immensely. Surf Drive Beach was close to the house. The kids liked riding their bikes there & around the neighbourhood. It's a quiet neighbourhood & I felt safe letting them. The heights and old silver beaches were awesome too. We enjoyed visiting the stores & restaurants in the center. Bill & Bob's & Liam Maguire's were favorites! We got to see the Commodores play Cotuit in a playoff game. All in all a great visit. The house is beautiful. We felt very comfortable. The family had game competitions at night in the clubhouse. Fun! The only suggestion we have to make for an even better experience is to put shades/blinds in windows. The sunlight woke us up too early.
