Description of the Farmington vacation condo rental

This individually owned condo is located within the Laurel Pond group of townhouses on resort grounds. A solarium with living plants frames a close-up view of a forested ravine, lined with rhodendron, with a small creek at the bottom. You will feel "alone in the woods"; yet you are only a 5 minute drive, or a 12 minute walk from the main resort complex. Each bedroom of the condo has a queen size bed and adjacent bathroom. There are also two twin-size aerobeds with pump and bedding.

Area Information

Explore the surrounding Laurel Highlands of southwest Pennsylvania. The scenery is beautiful, and flyfishing, whitewater rafting, boating, hiking, hunting and much more are available. The resort is 8 miles from Ohiopyle State Park, 10 miles from Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, 10.5 miles from Youghiogheny River Lake, 17 miles south of Uniontown.

We rented both this condo and the 1 bedroom below it for the weekend of our son's wedding. It allowed our growing family the room we needed to prepare for out big event. Our daughter, her husband and young baby occupied the 1 bedroom while my husband,myself and our 3 son's occupied the 2 bedroom. We had plenty of room to get ready, the shuttles were timely in getting us all where we needed to be. The unit had everything we needed-including a pack n play and high chair. The grounds nearby provided beautiful backdrop for photos of our son and his groomsmen. We loved the back deck with its wooded view- a very serene setting. We would recommend this lovely place to all and hope to return one day to enjoy it again.

We stayed at Nemacolin over Memorial Day Weekend. We had a great time. The rental of this condo was great. Working with the owner was awesome, very nice people. I've dealt with very difficult people before and it's really refreshing to rent from someone so nice. Aside from the that, the condo was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed during our stay there. I highly recommend renting this property.

Our family had a wonderful week in this condo. It was the second time that we have rented it! We were able to have full use of the resort amentities -- including the Paradise Pool. The condo was extremely clean, and it had everything we needed.

Nemacolin - Nice Trip

My 2nd trip to Nemacolin and this time with the kids in a condo. I would highly recommend this way instead of the lodge/chateau if you want to save some money and pretty much get all the amenities you would normally. The only disadvantage was you use the condo pool instead of the resort pool (which was still nice) and you don't have room charge privilidges so you have to pay either cash or credit card.

Great Sister Retreat

Stayed in this tree-house like condo during the perfect autumn weekend. The condo is beautifully decorated with artwork that facilitates relaxation. The leaves surround every view. Beds and living space are extremely comfortable. We savored the Nemacolin Spa and spent a full day exploring Frank Lloyd Wright's work at Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. I look forward to returning with my family.

The condo was better than advertised. The view of the deck was awesome, the condo is really in the heart of things, and my daughter loved the Cactus. She actually wanted to move there :) I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with the option to engage in activies if you choose.

I want anyone interested in this condo to know that the accommodations are out of this world. Nemicolin is a must see. The condo is clean, neat, and well decorated. You will find all that you need within. We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and did not need to bring anything other than our food, clothing, and ourselves. We had such a great time. My contact was an extreme nice gentleman who was very punctual. I would highly recommend to all.

We recently stayed in the condo and were very pleased with the entire experience. The Nemacolin site is amazing and everything is in reasonable walking (very short driving) distance. The condo was very nicely kept and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back again.
