We were two couples in town for a family gathering, in need of 'overflow' housing. This cottage was absolutely perfect for us. We weren't too fussy so having one shower didn't bother us, especially since there was a bath and a half. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped (nice to have full-size washer & dryer) and much more charming than the pictures tell. The manager was responsive and reserving was easy. One thing we'd have liked was a bit more seating in the living room, but we pulled dining chairs in and did fine. We'll definitely make use of this place for family events in the future - hopefully in the summer, when the lakeside location (and lovely deep lot) would be terrific.

Relaxing

My daughter and I came in from California to spend the Xmas holidays with my son. We had a very relaxing time and the place was so warm and peaceful. Just waking up in the morning and looking out into the beautiful lake view was awesome. I look forward to going back.

The house was clean and well-stocked. The lake view was beautiful. The owner was kind enough to bring another set of keys when we had accidentally locked ourselves out. I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Washington.

Great getaway

My two kids really enjoyed are stay at the Mirror Lake cottage. We felt like we were in the country. But only a short drive away from anything we needed. Wild waves and the bus station is only a 5 minute drive. The Cottage was very clean. My son caught trout, bass and blue gill in mirror lake. Steel lake was also nice. Just a few minutes away.

We were in town for a sporting event which our son participated. This relaxing home afforded him his much needed rest between events. A bonus was being able to bring our pet, she really likes road trips. Hope to be back in the future.

What a great getaway!!!

In Washington Dash Point for a wedding. We had an amazing B-B-Q dinner in the back yard with my family the "wedding party". God was taking care of us, we had great weather! Great yard, lake and freindly neigbhors. Way beyond our expectations. What a relaxing time after the "busy Seattle life" . Only need your clothes and food. Will do it again in a heart beat!

We stayed here for a week. The place accommodates 3 people comfortably. Full kitchen and nice relaxing view of the lake. We were not disappointed. I can say the actual cottage is nicer than the pictures. The owner is helpful and was available even on the weeken.

Wonderful cabin on the lake

My family stayed at Brian's cabin at the end of May. It was truly a home away from home. We loved watching the fish jump and the ducks swim in the lake. We bought a huge salmon while we were in Seattle, and were able to come "home" and barbecue it on the grill. We were a large group and there were plenty of towels and blankets to accomodate us all. The home was clean and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time and will definately refer our friends and family. Thank you!

Great deal for a weekend escape

Our family stayed at the cottage for a quick weekend getaway. We loved that it was just a short drive from Seattle, but felt like we were worlds away from everything. We went out exploring Dash Point, but enjoyed our time at the cottage too, especially the yard that goes right down to the water. This would be a great homebase for visiting both Seattle and Tacoma, without having to pay the $ to stay IN either city! Thanks Brian, for making your place available and affordable. We'll definitely be back!

This place is a STEAL!! You can't get a crappy hotel room for the price of this 2 bedroom house on the lake. It had every amenity you could ask for- we were especially happy about having a washer and dryer. The lake was very private and it was fantastic to wake up to. The owner, Brian was so nice. he offered to bring us "anything we may need". i would absolutely reccomend this property to anyone staying in the Seattle or Tacoma area as it was just about right in between both cities, very easy to get to the I 5 or 405. Also very important that this place was very family friendly; we had our 2 yr old son with us and he had a blast! A+ all the way. Thanks again Brian!!!
