Description of the Fenwick Island vacation home rental
**August 24-31 and wonderful May and September discounted weeks still available!
WATERFRONT LOCATION, AMENITIES, ATTRACTIONS!
The house is a true 5 bedroom home which allows families plenty of room to spread out without compromising privacy. In addition to the 5 bedrooms, 3 sleeper sofas provide comfortable accommodations in the living room for any additional guests. The house has 3 large full bathrooms.
We've happily accommodated a single couple to multi-families of up to 15. Amenities inside and outside the home allow guests to relax, enjoy, and unwind!
Upstairs features four bedrooms: 2 large master suites, one of which has sliding glass doors leading to the 2nd story large sundeck with patio loungers and table, very spacious bathroom with 2 person vanity sinks, ceramic tiled shower, and 2 person soaker tub. Soak away your stresses! The second master suite connects to an adjacent bathroom, across the hall is a sunny full bedroom, and for the kids or (kids at heart) the fourth bedroom has two twin beds with pack & play, toys, and extra cot.
The first floor features a very spacious 5th bedroom with a full bed for the parents or in-laws with a connecting full bathroom including stand-up shower.
Kitchen is fully-stocked and features granite countertops, very large breakfast bar for enjoying morning coffee, pantry, microwave, dishwasher, blender, breadmaker, waffle maker, and all plates, glasses, and utensils.
There is an eat-in dining room table overlooking your beautiful waterview.
Living room features fireplace, flatscreen television and dvd.
Sliding glass doors lead you to a beautiful 30 foot long first floor deck with outdoor dining table, lounge chairs, and hammock. Enjoy the sun and breeze from the loungers!
Gas grill for cooking the fresh fish you've caught, CRAB pots available for fresh CRABS right off the dock! Sit and enjoy right on our nautical inspired picnic table just feet from the water.
Outdoors hot/cold shower is a great place to clean off after your trip in the bay or ocean, feel the cool breeze as you take a hot shower under the sun or stars!!

For your convenience, the house features dual zoned central air, ceiling fans, satellite tv, dvd, a collection of books and videos, stereo, and full laundry room with washer and dryer.
The house is comfortable and spacious. Bring the kids, parents, and grandparents, there's plenty of room! Great for multi-families or multi-generational visits!

Area Information
Right down the road you'll find beautiful beaches, stations to rent sailboats, kayaks, parasailing, all at Fenwick Island State Park. Enjoy the beaches, many fine restaurants and nightlife of Coastal Highway. Rental boat marinas, outdoor bars, movie theaters, tax-free shopping, miniature golf, ice cream parlors, popcorn stands, water parks all within walking, biking, or 90 second drive distance.
Just 20 minutes away from the house, you'll find the amazing wildife at Assateague Island National Seashore. This is an exciting daytrip looking for the wild Assateague horses or just taking a swim in the ocean waters.
Bethany and Dewey Beaches
Just a short drive or bike ride down the road will take you to Bethany and Dewey beaches where you can spend the day at the beach looking for seashells, enjoying fine dining, or taking in a local band's concert
Rehoboth Beach
Enjoy the beach, the boardwalk, the eclectic nightlife, not to mention the tax-free shopping at the OUTLETS! You will find diverse restaurants from sushi to italian to mexican all in a few blocks!

Good Times!

We spent a wonderful week in this fabulous home. Our family was comfortable and entertained every minute of the day. The crabbing off our own dock was the highlight for both the adults and children. Eating our own catch was a delight. The home is well taken care of and has anything you might want. Lots to do nearby too. Having the pool was a must and it was also enjoyed by all. I give this a top rating for the home itself and dealing with the owner who is a joy. Go for it. You will be glad you did!

amazing vacation

we recently rented this home and loved it!!! we had 2 six yr olds, 2 late 20's and grandparents in early 50's. every single one of use loved the area, and the home!!! between the crabbing, pool, and beach so close we kept busy! it was so nive every evening to retreat back to the house and enjoy ourselves on the deck. the home was far nicer then i wld expect out of a rental and everything you possibly needed was availble!! thank you angiex

First of all, these home owners are great to work with and easily accessible during your vacation. Secondly, the house is amazing... lots of space and all the amenities you could think of. Finally, the area is fantastic. Fenwick Island, DE is adorable and you are only minutes away from Ocean City, MD. Make sure you check out Assateague, Prime Hook NWR, Pickles Pub for "frickles", Ocean Downs Casino, Cactus Cafe, Rehoboth, Country Store, Fenwick Wine Cellars...

My husband & I stayed for our 1 yr anniversary, we had a nice dinner in the yard. The Family LOVED it, We Loved it. Every thing was perfect. This trip brought about a lot of first. There was nothing like watching my Husband Kayak for the First Time, Feeding ducks off of the back deck, Crabbing. It was Amazing. We went To Bethany And Ocean City all in 1 day. The Location Is Perfect, Close to EVERYTHING, And the Affordable pricing makes it even better!! We Will Definitely return again.

Amazing and Absolute Relaxation

We are a growing family. My husband and I have four adult children. One daughter is married with a baby on the way, one daughter is engaged, a son has a very steady girlfriend and my youngest daughter has a boyfriend. My mother also joins us on our summer vacations. We have plenty of private sleeping areas and we all absolutely cannot say enough about this beautiful and spacious home. We are huge fans of the outdoor shower. What a delight in the warm summer weather. We love the view of the canal. Many evenings are spent on the outside porch and deck area sipping wine and watching the sun set. Ahh! Everyone selects a night for preparing dinner in the very large and well stocked gourmet kitchen. We have already booked for next year and we will be bringing a grandbaby along. We always have the most memorable vacations on Wilson Street in Cape Windsor, as we can truly relax and enjoy this remarkably spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed vacation home!

Had a bit of a ruff start but once that was past it was smooth sailing from there. Beautiful home, wonderfully decorated, centrally located, fairly peaceful setting, loved by the whole family! Our grandchildren had a fabulous time with the crab cages and the kayaks. Youngest grandson summed it up as he was going out the door to head home - " I love you house, I'm going to miss you!" Thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home. It is such a great place to just be together as a family:)

Dear Angela, We orginally found your house on the pet friendly site. Usually these rentals are O.K. but yours was beyond that by far it was FABULOUS!! We all had a great time the house was beautiful and it was close to the beach and places to catch a bite. Unfortunately we lost our dog shortly before our vacation and really needed somewhere to relax and enjoy because our family was very sad over our loss. Thank you so much everything. Wow - What a wonderful vacation home! The home is delightful, open, bright, accomodating and comfortable- not to mention fully equipped. No misrepresentations or misunderstandings that usually come with renting sight unseen. The location is ideal and is accessible to restaurants, activities and the beach. Crabbing off the back dock is lots of fun and provides a great opportunity for family to gather together, join in the fun and and make some great memories.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily rent your place again the next time we visit the beach.
The house's amenities exceeded our expectations. It's central location with easy access to entertainment, shops and groceries can't be beat.
Notes for Newcomers: Free Parking at the Beach can be found on the beach side of Coastal Hwy., just two blocks South of Lighthouse Rd. across the Maryland State Line. We went to the beach daily during our stay at the height of the Summer and always found a place to park. I can't say enough about food stores. There are two full size "up-scale" grocery stores just West on Lighthouse Rd. that only the locals seem to know about.
