Description of the Fernandina Beach vacation home rental

Everything furnished, linens, ceiling fans, A/C, washer dryer etc. One unit upstairs, one downstairs. The upstairs unit has two bedroooms with a king and twin size bed in each. There is a great veiw from the upstairs kitchen and deck. The downstairs unit has two bedroom with king beds in each and a double and a queen. Also, a sleeper sofa in livingroom. The downstairs is especially nice for those families with small children or senior adults who prefer not to climb stairs or anyone who prefers the lower level. There are two baths in each unit. Each unit rents for $950.00 weekly, and $100.00 damage deposit required which is not part of the rent but will be returned within 30 days once property is inspected for damages.

A cleaning service can be provided for additional $50.00, but arrangements for outside cleaning must be paid at the time of renting.

When you look at the calender and its marked, its possible that it mmeans only one unit is rented an the other is vacant. You should inquire if interested.

Fernandinda Beach is an old shrimping town and it has plenty of very interesting shops to just look around in. The dining is great and the golf is better. Fort Clinch a state park is about 5 or 6 blocks from the house. There is a nice park with new playground equipment 3 blocks from the house (walking distance) and a skateboard park. It's just a nice family beach.

One of the favorite things to do on the beach is look for sharks teeth. Byclcing is a big activity, you will see folks biking and walking to down town.

We have a new park right down the street for kids to use for skate boards . Theres about 8-9 different kind of ramps.
Surf fishing is good and there are several fishing piers.

 Easter at the Beach, June 2, 2009

We stayed here over Easter break and just loved the deck and the view of the ocean. There is nothing like waking up on Easter morning and watching the sun rise on the water. We attended First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach and enjoyed the service very much. Very nice downtown area.
