Description of the Fire Island vacation home rental

Four bedroom, 2 Bathroom house in Davis Park, Fire Island Great Location 2 houses from Ocean, 3 from bay, Full kitchen w/ dishwasher, living room dining area, satellite TV w/ stereo and surround sound, Washer/Dryer,deck with outside shower and gas BBQ. 1 bedroom has bunk beds great for kids sleeps 9 total, 7 adults 2 children. no smokers no pets please. Prefer families no group shares.$2,800.00 per week /$1000.00 security deposit. Full week rentals only.

Area Information

Davis Park is located at Fire Island’s east end. Because of its easterly locale, Davis Park exists in isolation from the rest of the Fire Island communities, but it possesses its own relaxed Fire Island beach culture.

Davis Park actually encompasses three areas; LEJA Beach, the town beach/marina, Ocean Ridge, and Davis Park, the community section. Davis Park is a true boaters’ community with huge 200+ boat marina.

The three sections of the community are quite distinguishable from one another. Davis Park proper has thicker growth and more trees and shrubbery (a wall of pines has been planted along its line with Leja Beach); Ocean Ridge, flatter, sandier, stretches away along a central boardwalk all open to view. Leja beach is the commercial district: the stores, Casino, and small boatel all abut its solitary bay-to-ocean walk.

Davis Park maintains an even balance between a young single party crowd, many of whom occupy Fire Island rentals and Fire Island shares, and family-oriented visitors and homeowners who own Fire Island real estate.

The Davis Park Ferry offers service to Davis Park - Ocean Ridge from the Patchogue Fire Island Ferry terminal (Sandspit Marina).
