Perfect Stay at the Beach

October 9, 2012

My mother and aunt stayed here for the month of September while awaiting my sister's wedding. The condo was wonderful. The bedrooms are huge. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Excellent location. Flagler Beach is a charming, quiet seaside town. The beach was beautiful and they walked it and picked up shells every day. Very secure building as well, and everyone they met was friendly and pleasant. The owners were gracious and accommodating as well. Highly recommended!

Flagler Condo

August 13, 2012

Positives: Very secluded location right across the street from the beach. Floor plan of condo much bigger then I had anticipated. Bedrooms were very good size. Queen size bed comfortable. 2 bathrooms with showers, one also had a bathtub. Cable tv in both bedrooms and living room. Kitchen had everything you could want (not that we cooked but could have easily). Condo located right off of elevator. Parking in secure garage. Pool was really nice. Reasonable price. Easy fast communication with owner. Negatives: Location was far from everything (also listed in positives). Couches and king size bed not comfortable. Strong constant smoke smell in condo that we suspected came from the condo next door. Also bad food smell in kitchen that would could not pinpoint. Very dated decor. Showers had bad water pressure. Bugs noted in garage, two seen in condo. No dvd player in living room as was stated there would be. Couch also not a sofa sleeper, not sure how you would sleep 6 people. Half of the building is perm/primary residents and were not friendly to renters. Washer and dryer (owned by the building not the owner of the condo) did not work well.

Nautilus Condo, Flagler Beach, FL

Very nice condo and beach. Looks to be the same decor and furnishings since it was built. Maybe a remodel would be nice. The other amenities, pool, weight room, and beach were very good, too. King mattress needs replacing- lumpy.

Look at the surrounding area

June 9, 2012

I almost booked a month long stay at the Nautilus based on relative price and location. The unit and the building look pretty good online, but understand what "old Florida" atmosphere means (depressed). If you're a group of male fishing buddies, this may be the right place. I wouldn't take my family there. Yes, it's at the beach, but the surrounding area isn't like most FL beachfront cities. We chose another location for this year's trip, but drove through Flagler and the Nautilus on our way. It has every appearance of an economically depressed area, even right behind the condo complex. The beach is convenient and nice enough, but I'd want LoJack if I parked my car in this area at night.

Fabulous vacation!

September 1, 2010

This condo was very nice, furnished with everything we needed, plenty of towels, sheets, food, beach chairs, etc. The beach was great, no tourists here, secluded, beautiful location for a very restful, relaxing vacation. It is very close to St. Augustine (where we spent one day). We would definitely return here again as everything was just perfect!

We were very pleasantly surprised to find the condo far surpasses the internet pictures both in decor and amenities.
