Spectacular & Affordable Oceanfront Condo ! (#404)

Pros: GREAT LOCATION, Spectacular views, Short walk across street to beach, Spacious unit, Lots of security, Garage (if it was raining we didn't have to go out in it to get in our car), Great pool Cons: Smelled of smoke, Out dated, coin operated laundromat (not W/D in unit as we thought), saw some roaches & spiders in the unit, could use a thorough cleaning, some of the lights work & some don't (kitchen switch spuratic), worn furniture (patio furniture inside), 2nd toilet needs some work (leaks), Couldn't get in at 3pm (locked & hadn't been cleaned yet, check in is 2pm) We would love to stay here again but think the owner should invest in updating this unit & make sure cleaning crew is performing as required. Be careful of the high tide which seemed to be spuratic! Low tide was perfect for the kids because there was a sand bar. Spotted several dolphin! Finn's was a great place to eat, DON'T recommend Martin's. MUST EAT at Down the Hatch & VISIT the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse!! this is a beautiful condo. spotlessly cleaned and had everything anyone could need! this a some place i could stay forever! the owners were great to deal with. I was not in this rental I was in 910 and in my opinion it needs a lot of work. Screen door not working,leak under kitchen sink, no lighting in dining room. inside cabinets dirty. I cleaned a cup of dirt from both bath vents.Bed linens pathetic. Ones that fir barely fit.We also did some spot shampooing on bed room rugs. Not a good expierence. Thank you for asking. Peggy Grady Our experience at Venetian Bay was great. The staff, especially the manager was very attentive. They keep the grounds in great shape, and we felt very secure in this gated community. The heated pool and hot tub were especially nice. Many seniors come here year after year. Memorial Day weekend we spent at this condo, my husband and 5 year old son. It was wonderful, the place is big and airy - You really feel like your at the beach. The view is great, the beach is right out the back door and the pool is around the corner. It was by far, the best beach place we have rented for the money, its a great deal. The beach is very quiet - Not frequented by tourist and there are lots of beautiful state parks around. The owner was very nice, we had a fantastic experience.
