What a great vacation house!
We went to arizona to visit the Grand Canyon and Sedona and got really lucky to come across The Tree House! This cozy vacation home is conveniently located in Flagstaff which (if you're a tourist like me and not familiar with the area) is 1.5 hours away from Grand Canyon and 40 minutes away from Sedona. The house is beautiful! It seems brand new, very clean, has hard-wood floors, sophisticated bathrooms, and open-wide spaces between the common areas. It has 2 rooms upstairs and 1 room in the basement (which is really sizeable--there's 4 of us who stayed down there!) It comes with a fire place, washer and dryer, a deck, and a jacuzzi. It's surrounded by trees and mountains, and it gets really great natural lighting. Besides getting to stay at this gorgeous house, our hosts, Dana and Scott, were wonderful! When we got there, we were welcomed by a really sweet note and 2 bottles of wine! Everything was well-organized (from how to start their fireplace or where to find certain things)! In the house you will find a very user-friendly folder that has everything about the house, the city, or the neighboring stores! They were also quite easily accessible when we had questions. Staying in a vacation house worked well for us because there were 8 of us in this trip and we stayed on aZ for 1 week. So we wanted a place that would allow us to cook and do grocery-shopping (there was a Walmart about 10 miles away). This vacation house couldn't have been more perfect--it's fully furnished from cozy couches to every kitchen utensil you'll ever need. And if you forgot to bring towels or toiletries, they've got that covered too! In addition, after hiking the Grand Canyon all day, it's nice to get away from other tourists and stay in a cozy, quiet, and relaxing environment and get into a hot tub instead of staying in a hotel. I highly recommend the Tree House!
Home away from home.
Place is in excellent condition. Love the hand written welcome note that we found on the house when we arrived. The area is very quiet and a great place to stay and relax.
