Description of the Flagstaff vacation townhouse rental

1200 SF home is located in Continental Country Club. This newly remodeled and modern home has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fireplace, laundry room, and a spacious kitchen with all the amentities of home, and a spacious wrap around deck.

The two bedrooms are fully furnished and include flat screen televisions in each, full baths, closets, and new carpet and tile through out. Computer, printer, Internet use included, also has cable TV.

The family room has hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, a large 42" flat screen TV above the fireplace, DVD player, AM/FM stereo. 14 foot Vaulted ceilings with two fans, a wood burning rock fireplace, and plenty of lighting with dimmers to set any romantic mood.

Outside, the spacious furnished wrap around deck includes decorative railing that has a locking gate to enjoy privacy and safety for small children and dogs. It also includes 2 sets of lovely patio furniture, large propane stainless steel BBQ grill, an enclosed patio area with pull down shades, and a television for outside entertainment.

From the deck you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt Elden, the large Oak trees in the front yard, our beautiful golf course at Continential Country Club that is open to the public, and also to residents and visitors at a discounted rate. The club house is less than 25 yards from the townhouse front door. The club house also features two restuarants for your convenience and pleasure. One is a full service restuarant overlooking the golf course and the other is s sports bar featuring big screen tv's for you sports fans.

Activities in the winter months are plentiful. There are plenty of hills for the kids to enjoy sledding and snow play. In the summer there is a practice golf range and a full 18 hole golf course to enjoy, a club house with many amentities, adult and kid pools, gym facilities,hot tub, and tennis. All availble to you as a guest at our townhome.

There are many activities, wonderful restaurants, and numerous tourist attractions to enjoy in Flagstaff and the surrounding areas. Continential Country Club is located just 5 to 10 minutes from shopping and dining in the historic Downtown Flagstaff, 10 minutes from the NAU campus, 30 minutes from Snow bowl where both summer and winter activities can be enjoyed. Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and Slide Rock are only 25 minutes away. If interested in seeing one of the great wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon is a little less than a 2 hour drive.

Area Information

Continential Country Club is the premier community in Flagstaff. It is lush and beautiful country club community and has a range of activities on site for both members and non members. Non members can take advantage of golfing, hot tub accessibility, kids & adult pools, hot tub, tennis, activity centers, family restaurants, and gym facilities Fishing, biking, hiking, are just a few other activities that can be enjoyed on site. There are two brand new bikes for you use while you stay with us.

Flagstaff is a popular destination for skiers and accomidations are close by at Super Bowl. Ski shuttles stop in front of our home or you can drive to the lodge yourself. Great fun for the entire family.

Sedona and it world famous red mountains are less than 30 miles. The scenic drive is breath taking. "A must see adventure." You can take a "Pink Jeep" tour for a memorable adventure or relax among the many tall oak tress by the water's edge, or shop at the many shops.

The Grand Canyon is approximately and hour and half drive from Flagstaff, its a perfect day trip for the family. Lodging is available for overnight stays.

Sunset Creator (25 minutes)
Jerome is an old mining town with lots to do (45 minutes)
Prescott and its old historic town and wineries (1 hour)

Tall Pines in Flagstaff

My husband and I recently spent five nights in Barb and Wally's beautiful and well appointed home in Flagstaff. They were very kind and understanding about my husband's disability. Barb really has a flair for design and the house had so many beautiful, homey touches. Wally was very helpful and acommodating when the heater went on the fritz during a couple of 20 degree nights. He even promised to refund $75 for our inconvenience - very nice!! The house is in a convenient location in a country club community - couldn't have been prettier! I would highly recommend staying there to anyone planning to visit Flagstaff and the surrounding area!!

A great location in Flagstaff

We really enjoyed staying in the condo in the Continental Country Club area. It's proximity to the clubhouse, fitness center and pool were perfect (although a little too close to the street). The outdoor patio areas were where we spent most of our time and had all of our meals. The weather for Aug was very pleasant with a few exciting thunderstorms. The house was nicely decorated with ceiling fans and tvs in all rooms. It was a plus having access to a computer and laundry facilities in the house. Nearby attractions were many and we went to Sunset Crater, Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, Sedona and Grand Canyon. We also really enjoyed the Arboretum - twice for musical concerts and once for hiking and birdwatching. Also did some easy hiking at nearby Campbell Mesa Trails just a little ways down Old Walnut Canyon Road. Flagstaff was a great choice for us to beat the heat and we very happy with our decision to spend a month there in the summer.

What a wonderful stay we had at your Flagstaff home. It was the perfect place to slow down and relax for a few days. Your home is just lovely and oh such a warm and comfortable environment. We spent much of our time on the patio. The weather was gorgeous and we wanted to take it all in. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. We would love to rent your home again in the future and we will highly recommend it as a great "vacation location" to all of friends and family.
