Description of the Flathead Lake vacation cabin rental

Beautiful two bedroom cabin that sleeps eight located in a beautiful cove on Montana 's best and biggest lake---Flathead Lake.

Located six miles from Polson, Mt, this cabin is easy to get too. In the summer, there 's great fishing, boating, water skiing. In the winter, your 23 miles from a ski area and you can snow mobile almost out your back door.

The cabin is located next to million dollar cabins in beautiful 'Whiskey Cove". You have a view of Wild Horse Island from the large L Shaped Dock. Wild Horse Island can be reached for hiking via boat and there are still live wild horses inhabiting the island today.

Note: this cabin’s water is provided by pumping water from the lake. We suggest you bring your own drinking water with you.

Area Information

Glacier National Park is a must see and is only three hours from the cabin. Flights into Missoula or Kalispell, Mt are appox. 90 minutes from the front door of the cabin.

What a marvelous place to rest, relax, and enjoy!! Everything you could need in a home away from home!! Comfortable beds, lots of space to move around, the dock, paddleboat and rower were a hit with the whole family!! The weather was so great, the fire pit was awesome, we played cards under the covered picnic table, enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the lake......Absolutely tranquil!! It took our family an entire week to get through 1 movie - thats how much we enjoyed the outdoors!! But if you did have a rainy day, there were board games and movies to enjoy in a well appointed cabin!! We will definitely be booking to come again. And the little bay was perfect for kids, no worries at all with them playing in the water!! And if you get there - go have ice cream at Pirates Cove!! WOW!!

Cozy Cabin

I wanted to say thanks for providing such a wonderful place. We especially enjoyed the covered picnic table which allowed us to barbecue even in the rain. Our nine-year-old thought the paddle boat was amazing. We were all impressed by the cozy, tidy home and its amenities. We would certainly return there on a vacation.

Awesome vacation at the lake

Cabin was great. It meet all our expectations and more. Our grandkids loved the paddle boat and because of the great location, in a very secluded bay, we didn't have to worry about boats or jet skis darting in and out of the area. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Will be sure and look into renting this cabin again during our next trip to Flathead Lake.
