Description of the Florence vacation apartment rental

Our charming split-level flat is located in a pedestrian street really close to UFFIZI GALLERY, just a 2 minute walk to SIGNORIA SQUARE and OLD BRIDGE. On the second floor of a period building entirely restored with elevator, the apartment is graciously furnished and tastefully decorated in typical Florentine style, with wooden beam ceiling and cotto flooring. It is 60 sqm arranged over two floors and comprises, on lower level, hall with small storage room, separate kitchen with small table for breakfast, living room with sofa-bed (large single bed) and dining table with seating for up to 6 people. Inner stairs lead to the upper level where is a cosy bedroom with double bed (divisible into two single beds if required) and one single sofa-bed(could be use for children and adults),a built-in closet, a modern spacious bathroom with bath-tub and wall-mounted shower. All rooms have windows overlooking the quiet inner courtyard (with no cars parked). Suitable for 2/3 people. Perfect for couples!

 Uffizi Apartment Greatly Exceeded Our Expectations, October 31, 2009

Sending deposit money through a wire transfer is never an easy thing to do on sight unseen property, but I'm so glad we did. This rental was a walk into another world, the world of Florence in centuries past. The charm and romance of it was worth far more than what we paid for our 6 day stay and the owner was lovely. She gave us an exhaustive list of everything in the neighborhood and it was well worth reading for her recommendations on everything from gelato, to convenience stores; I could have left my guidebook at home. Florence is a great city to make daytrips from, but never affordable for that purpose until now with Uffizi Apartment. As a frequent traveler to Italy I have finally found the perfect home base for discovering more of Tuscany. As a passionate cook, it was a thrill for me to be able to shop for a home made meal in Florence. Rossella also provided information on local stores and the large outdoor markets, so my cooking fantasy came true, but she also suggested Trattoria Antica Fattore just around the corner from the apartment and the food there was remarkably authentic and of excellent quality. I cannot think of a better way to thank our hostess than to let other people know that this was one of the best travel experiences of my life; I hope to return for an even longer stays in the years to come. If the idea of a deposit for utilities is uncomfortable, don't worry, our cost was under 10 euros and the friend who suggested we rent it paid less than 15.

This beautiful apartment is literaly 2 minutes from the Uffizi. It combines old world charm with modern convenices - washing machine, lift etc. Rossella, the owner of this great apartment, is wonderful. She provides everything you need and more! She even printed out the weather report for the week we were there. We highly reccomend the Uffizi Apt.
