Area Description

The apartment is on the fourth floor (with a brand new elevator) of a characteristic 20th-century building, near great shopping and good restaurants. It is right next to one of Florence's best preserved green and hilly areas, with a stunning country landscape all around, which is enjoyable from our main bedroom's window.
The apartment is just a short walk from many of Florence's most famous sights.

The bus stop takes you in 5 minutes to the heart of historical Florence and is just one block away from the apartment.
Florence's airport is appx. 10-12 minutes by taxi from the apartment. Taxis are relatively cheap (and reliable) from the airport. You should expect to pay appx. 12 to 15 Euros max. (it depends if on rush hours and traffic conditions).
