Breathtaking 360° View , from mountain to town of Reggello, to Valdarno Valley and Chianti hills

We stayed at La Torre for 5 nights, in the "Cantina" apartment. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the scenery is picture-perfect, and our accomodations were quite comfortable. The first day, we went to the local supermarket in Reggello (it's a quick walk to the town from the Fattoria, but if you're planning to buy supplies/groceries, def. plan to drive -- it's a very steep walk, not one to brave while carrying bags), got everything we needed -- napkins, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, food items, etc. Had our breakfast al fresco every morning, with the Fattoria's two wonderful dogs -- Camilla and Argo -- keeping us company. La Torre produces its own olive oil and chocolate -- both fantastic, we bought some to bring home with us. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Been here in November for work, the panorama from the hill in front and the valley is breathtaking. Summer must be the top! Will come back with my family.

A great stay
My wife and I stayed at Fattoria La Torre in September 2011, and after having booked for a week enjoyed it so much that we stayed on for an extra 3 nights. The location is perfect - just outside of Reggello with a path through the olive groves to the village less than 10 minutes away (although walking back is all uphill), and being outside of the village it is quiet and peaceful. There is a beautiful view from the farmhouse and apartments down over the valley, and especially from the swimming pool you can see a large part of the valley.
Ideally located for day trips (you will need to rent a car to make the best of the opportunities), we easily got to Firenze and Arezzo and numerous of the small villages around Reggello. Being in the heart of the Chianti district means there are lots of beautiful places to visit. We usually ate out in the afternoons on our day trips out, but found that the local fresh food (all of which can be found in Reggello) was so good that we ate every evening at the farm outside on the patio, enjoying cold meats, delicious tomatoes, olives, breads and of course wine and cheese.
The folks at Fattoria La Torre are great, and Sabina who runs the apartments and B&B up the road was fantastic, spending lots of time with us to tell us where to go and what to do - thanks Sabina!
Highly recommended for couples, families or friends.
