Stay four nights in a beautiful apartment in a restored villa from the 15th century, only 15 minutes from the centre of Florence.The villa is family run and we are at your disposal to make sure you’ll feel at home. Children are very welcome, we have a special programme for them and 13 acres of fenced garden for them to explore.
Your stay includes a guided day exploring the Tuscan countryside. Half day guided tour of the historical centre of Florence.A gourmet cooking class.

Description of the Florence vacation villa rental

My parents and I run "Villa Il Paradiso", a XV century Historic House situated in Tuscany,Italy, just outside Florence city. It is part of a 5 hectares estate which includes a XVI century Villa where the family lives since 1839. In the 2004 the Villa has been completely and lovingly restored and opened to all the guests that would like to see, live and participate in our life, visit Florence and the beautiful country villages of Tuscany.
Life at Villa Il Paradisino is unhurried , filled with the scents, flavors and furnishings of a past that is still alive.
We are a family friendly hotel and pet friendly also.
We are very happy to have children at the Villa and they will be safe in asny part of the estate; all the land around the villa is fenced.

The villa is surrounded by rows of grapes and olive trees, interspersed with centuries-old vegetation: ancient species of fruit trees, vegetable garden, flower gardens and meadows. Our farm produces extra virgin olive oil, red wine, organic vegetable, eggs, fruit, jams and other home made products available for our guests.

The complex is furnished with original Tuscan antiques and ceramics owned by our family for generations .
We rent 5 apartments, elegant and spacious, which contain modern conveniences. The pastel wall colors, the four-poster bed and the ancient terracotta floor tiles, contribute to creating a special atmosphere and warmth in the rooms. Bathrooms and Kitchen are furnished with authentic Carrara and other Tuscan marbles and other natural materials in splendid colors.
There is a laundry room in common use and 3 apartments have a private area outside with garden and courtyard. Chairs, deckchairs, barbecue, beach umbrellas and tables are available to enjoy the garden and the pool, having dinner or simply relaxation.

OUR APARTMENTS:

IL GIUGGIOLO - accommodation for 4+2
This apartment is located on the ground floor and it is composed of a large living room (37 sq mt) with a stone fireplace , a kitchen, a double room with an ancient wrought iron tester bed and another bedroom with brass bed. Both rooms have a private bathroom: one of these has a shower and the other has a tub, too.
There is a very comfortable double sofa bed in the living room.

LA LOGGETTA - accommodation for 4 + 3
The apartment is situated on the first floor and has a big living room (36 sq mt) with monumental stone fireplace , a kitchen and two large double rooms with private bathroom, one of which with an extra single bed. One of the bedrooms has an antique wrought iron tester bed and a large bathroom with shower and tub. Furthermore the apartment has a charming loggia with panoramic view. There is a very comfortable double sofa bed in the living room.

LA TORRE - accommodation for 2
This nice apartment is set on two floors. It is composed of a living room with a cooking corner, a double room with an antique and romantic wrought iron tester bed and a nice bathroom with a little window that looks over the roof. This bedroom has a panoramic view across the countryside because it is located right at the top of the old tower .

LOGGETTA and TORRE can be connected so that you can rent a 3 bedrooms apartment.

IL MELOGRANO - accommodation for 2 + 4
This apartment is positioned on the ground floor: it has a large living room (40 sq mt) with a nice cooking corner and a big glass door which looks over its private garden and courtyard. There is a bright double room with a monumental wrought iron tester bed (XVIII century), a special studio on a raised mezzanine level offering a panoramic view over the roof and a spacious bathroom with shower and tub. There are two very comfortable double sofa bed one in the living room and the other at the mezzanine level.

Il GELSO - accommodation for 4 + 2
A very comfortable apartment occupying two light-filled floors. On the ground floor is a sitting room with a view to the garden and a large live-in kitchen (about 40 sq mt) with an antique fireplace. On the upper floor are two bedrooms, one twin bedroom with antique tester beds in wrought iron and a queensize bedroom with another antique wrought iron bed. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom, one with shower and the other with hydromassage tub. This apartment has private courtyard with a wood-fired oven. There is a very comfortable double sofa bed in the living room.


LA LIMONAIA: (475 sq feet/45 sq meters) our suite, with a very elegant and romantic double room positioned on the ground floor, with a double bed and double sofa bed, private bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. The room has windows on the garden and private entrance from the garden, the ceiling is very beautiful with ancient wood rafters and the pavement is in stone.

Gelso and Limonaia can be connected so that you can rent a 3 bedrooms apartment.

Our double sofa beds are handmade by a local artesan and are confortable as a real bed.

Our services: breakfast and dinner service, musuem reservation, additional maid service, shopping assistence, spa services and baby sitting.
We give cooking lessons using the fresh products from our garden and teaching the family recipes to make people know our culture and traditions.
Family reunions and weddings for group also.
High speed internet connection is free 24h/day in the apartments.
We collaborate also with a wonderful and professional tour guide,who provide daily trips visiting Tuscany and knowing about its history, activities, gastronomy and wines. Biking and shopping tours are also available.

is located in Sesto Fiorentino, a small town surrounded by beautiful hills and the Apennine Mountains, just 6 km NW (4 miles) from Florence historical centre and less than 1 hour driving from many world-wide renowned art cities like Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo and mediaeval villages like San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo as well as the beautiful Val d 'Orcia and Mugello countryside and the Chianti wine region.
We are about 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Rome and Venice and about 3 hours from Milan the fashion capital of the world.
Our geographic position is absolutely exceptional to visit Florence (12 minutes ride by train) and the Tuscan region: you can establish your home base in our Villa and drive everyday visiting different places: we are 3 km (1.8 miles) from the exit of A1, the most important Highway that connect you with many cities and town.
If you prefer not to drive you can easily move by train or bus: the train station is 15 minutes walking distance and the bus stop to Florence is in front of the Villa.
You can also find lots of shops and facilities like banks, pharmacies, restaurants, post office, theatre, pastry shops, bakeries, café ', Delly, Groceries, tennis courts and more that are reachable within 10 minutes or less by foot.
Sesto Fiorentino, Etruscan and then Roman village, is famous for its artistic, hand made and painting porcelain: nearby there are Richard Ginory porcelain factory and its museum: Then you can visit the Etruscan tombs "La Montagnola" and "La Mula", and the Medici Villas "Castello" and "La Petraia", where you can visit the inside and the historic Tuscan gardens outside.
Guests can also enjoy local horse riding, biking or just walking around the Villa, shopping in the little centre or exploring the surrounding countryside and forest on scenic paths seeing beautiful Historic Houses, olive trees fields, gardens, enjoying the savoury scent of Tuscany aromatic herbs.

 Wow! Don't look any farther for a Tuscany villa, October 26, 2009

This place was incredible. It is like a very large hidden garden in the middle of a very nice village. You are surrounded by all kinds of trees and plants: olive trees, pomegranate trees, lemon and orange trees, persimmon trees and gardens full of all kinds of vegetables. Costanza and her family offered to let us have free broccoli, cauliflower and leeks (the only things in season). She was so helpful with suggestions and maps. And the villa itself is really beautiful and clean and comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

You won't find a more hospitable place to bring your family and friends. The Villas are full of antiques, and fully up to date with modern amenities. My 12 and 17 year old children loved the 12 acres of groves and the family pets that kept watch on the property. A short walk to the local grocery store and you'll find the finest local produce and meats, and Costanza will even cook a meal for you and your family if you wish to opt for the experience. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station, and a short 15 minute ride to the center of Florence. I can wait to reccomend this wonderful place to all my family and friends-I just hope there's room for us next year!

This tuscan home could not have been more lovely . It was everything your Italian fantasy could possibly dream about . Not to forget to mention that Costanza was an amazing hostess with much passion for her historic guest home . I hope to return someday , there is more to explore . My family and I stayed at Villa Il Paradisino for 1 week in July 2008. It was by far, the BEST experience any of us have ever had. All the apartments have been lovingly restored to create a traditional Tuscan feel but with the best of modern luxuries. The gardens are out of this world! Rolling green gardens with the most beautiful flowers, trees and vegetables. We had a 5 year old and a 3 year old who could roam around safely with us knowing there is no way they could escape! We ate fresh salad and vegetables from the gardens every day and cooked them in the fresh herbs we could pick from outside our patio doors. Constanza cooked us a traditional Tuscan meal and it was the best food we ever tasted! It was a total experience! The Location is PERFECT. We walked to the train station and within 10 mins we were in the centre of Florence, and Sienna and Chianti are close. Constanza and her family are the perfect hosts in every way. If you ever plan on visiting Italy, you MUST MUST stay here

We just returned from a wonderful stay the Villa Paradisino. I can't say enough great things about it. It was even more beautiful than the pictures! Extremely clean, spacious and wonderful! Costanza is an excellent concierge....as well as cook, property manager--you feel like you are visiting an old friend. I highly recommend her dinners. My only regret is that I did not take a cooking class from her. We were a large family of 8--3 generations ranging from 9 to 78 years old. We stayed in Il Gelso, and had plenty of room. Everyone loved every minute of our stay. It is in a perfect location to Florence and wine country. A great respite after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Villa Paradisino is a perfect place for your Tuscan holiday!

My husband & I spent six nights at Villa Paradisio and had a wonderful time. The room & bathroom were very clean and comfortable, the gardens were beautiful, but the best part of our time there was Costanza and her family. They were so helpful and could not do enough to make us welcome. They gave us alot of advise as to where to go in Florence and the surrounding area. We had a great vacation and would not hesitate to recommend this Villa to anyone. Costanza set us up with a tour guide who took us around the countryside for one day, and the rest of the time we got around by train eliminating the need to rent a car.
