Description of the Florence vacation home rental
This home has been comfortably decorated as a tropical paradise. With light and airy rattan & wicker, overstuffed cushions & down throw pillows you can truly unwind and relax. The living room and kitchen adjoin, so no one will miss what's going on.
The master bedroom, has a tropical paradise down comforter, and a wonderful sitting area that includes wicker chaise lounge, where you can sit and enjoy the sunny afternoon view. The small bedroom, has a full size bed with jungle motif, and the second bedroom with futon, has an abundance of sun and a great view, it is decorated in a sea shell motif.
The best part is the glassed in sun porch which is as big as the living room, but is it's own separate room. It seems most of our guests spend their time there. Watching the beach, and sunset, and enjoying the all day sun

Jewel of a Location!

We especially enjoyed the proximity - just a few steps away - to the wide sandy beach. The house was the perfect size for our group - 4 adults and one child plus a lazy dog. We had decided in advance to cook all our meals there and found the kitchen a little lacking in amenities. There were some nice platters etc., but not the right size pans for our needs. We enjoyed our two nights there - again primarily because of the proximity to such a great beach and a friendly eclectic neighborhood. When it was time to leave and we wanted to clean up the sand we brought in, the vacuum didn't pick up anything. Needs a new one! Appliances are not new - but they're all there including washer and dryer. We felt very very welcome when we walked in and discovered a lovely card and welcome gift - very thoughtful! And the rental agent was VERY sweet and accommodating and treated us very fairly. Considering the price and the location it's a jewel!

We LOVED this very comfortable beach property. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and fresh smell on arrival. There was a bottle of wine awaiting us that was so appreciated. The home is quite spacious and the beds are very comfy, even the futon! Great beach access and easy drive to the nearest Fred Meyers for groceries. We highly recommend Sea Lion Surf for anyone looking for vacation lodging in the Florence area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Lion Surf. The house is not fancy, but it is very well equipped and the beds and linens are very comfy. We appreciated that the property manager was easy to work with and that she made an extra effort to make us feel welcome (thanks for the wine, sand dollar and note!). The location couldn't be better - just steps away from the ocean! We will definitely come back and stay if we find ourselves in the Florence area again!

Our family had a great 2 night stay at the Sea Lion Surf. We met Leslie as soon as we arrived and she was wonderful! The house was right across from the water and the kids loved playing on the beach. We could sit on the enclosed porch and watch the ocean too. Perfect in the morning while having coffee! We also liked being able to cook our own food and having everything we needed right there. We would recommend this without hesitation! We had a wonderful time!

I Stayed At Sea Lion Surf With My Husband, Our Newborn Son Along With My Parents And Little Brother For A Week.i Really Enjoyyed Our Time There It Was Wonderful To Get Away And Be In Such A Relaxed Setting. The Views Were Breathtaking And The House Was Very Cozy.

Very comfortable space for 4 adults. Nice front sitting room to hang out with view of the beach. Bath and Kitchen a bit older but Well kept, clean. Liked having a washer dryer. Great location across street from beach.

Foggy weekend at the beach

The location is great and the house is surprisingly large and nicely furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing time and walked on the beach many times. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves, but that was because of the dense fog! Oh well, was still fun!

We really enjoyed this place, especially the sunporch area with a great view. My two boys (ages 12 and 14) really liked the easy access to the beach (across the street) since they wanted to play in the sand and hunt for shells all day. We actually stayed in Sandpiper, a Whaleswatch cottage in Florence, OR. The owner was wonderful! The sea was a bit of a walk, but it was wonderful to have 3 or four people in a house for the price of a motel room. It was decorated very cute. We enjoyed ourselves!
