Newly custom built Ponderosa Pine and Cedar trim with every modern amenity. Surrounded by a tall forest the back deck is like looking out over a Vista point. The trees act as a natural wind barrier, but does allow for a very nice breeze. Peaceful with lots of wildlife. Very private setting. House is located off Coast Highway 101 a mile and a half, but still within city limits. Walk to an 18-hole golf course, One mile from Sand Dunes, take your fishing pole and walk 1/4 mile to the stocked (trout) lake, and just one mile to the casino. VERY large driveway for all of your cars, toyhaulers, etc.
Florence is located on the coast in Oregon (60 miles west of Eugene) It is a very cute bedroom community with lots of character. Known throughout the country for its unique sand dunes, sea lion caves, and historic Bay street. It is where the forest meets the ocean and the Siuslaw River wraps itself around the city.
There's something for everyone: Rent a sandboard or ATV and go out on the Dunes. Go out to the Ocean and during certain times of the year you can see dolphins, whales, sea lions or look for sea shells and agates. Stroll down Bay Street in Old town for some unique shopping and enjoy a wonderful lunch and/or dinner as well. Go up with the family for a unique experience at the worlds largest sea lion cave or walk up to the light house for a picturesque view. If you enjoy hiking there are 11+ waterfalls to view at Sweet Creek Falls. Walk to the lake for a morning of fishing or walk to the golf course for a round of golf. Try your luck at the 3 Rivers Casino or just spend the day lounging around on the deck enjoying the spa, sun, wildlife, and beauty of Oregon.

Perfect Setting, July 28, 2008
By
Sheri Houck (Susanville, CA USA)
The Cunningham's comfortable cabin was the perfect setting for our family gathering. Our grown children traveled from Seattle, Fortuna and Susanville to join us for a great week of fun, food, dunes, beach, lighthouse tour, local charm in old town and kayaking among beautiful pink water lilies on Munsel Lake. Such a great place. We are happy to refer our friends and we hope to return ourselves as well.
The Cunningham's are so kind and helpful with everything. Great Hosts!
Cozy Cabin, July 27, 2008
By Ragon & McKillip Family (Oregon & China)
This was a great getaway spot for our family. We enjoyed many family meals together and took in trips to the nearby lighthouse, hiking trails, shopping in "old town" and of course the beach. The house was very clean and well stocked. We made good use of the BBQ and hot tub. The owners are very nice and helpful. We plan to stay here again in the future!

We stayed at this cabin while attending the Olympic track trials in Eugene Oregon. There was plenty of room for our family & an extra friend and the home was super clean. We used the BBQ and hot tub and were delighted with both. The home was very comfortable and quiet. The Cunninghams responded quickly to emails & phone calls. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The Cunningham's Comfortable Cabin, June 10, 2008
By Andrew and Heather (Sacramento, CA USA)
We were welcomed by the Cunninghams with a big smile. The cabin is as spacious and comfortable as we dreamed it would be and the hot tub was just as soothing. The Cunninghams pointed out the best spots on the nearby Oregon coast and they were all amazing and unforgetable! Munsel Lake was a couple hundred feet away, the Suislaw river was a couple hundered feet the other direction and the coast not much further. We can't wait to come back to Florence and stay in this lovely cabin again. This is the home for any Oregon coast vacationer to stay in. Thanks for a great time!

This is a lovely home in a peaceful setting but near shopping. We enjoyed the Sea Lion Caves and traveled up the coast for sightseeing. We also enjoyed just relaxing at the house and using the hot tub. Would not hesitate renting again.

We only spent 2 nights at the house, but it fit all 9 of us beautifully. The weather kept us inside a bit (2 inches of snow on the ground the second morning!) but the amenities kept us warm and comfortable. Great spot!

We had a wonderful time. The house was wonderfully clean, warm and homey. The extra little touches really made you feel welcome. Great place to stay for quad riding minutes away from South Jetty and easy parking for the trailers. Being able to come back after a great day of riding and then take a hot shower have a great meal and then to relax in the hot tub you couldn't ask for a better vacation. Enjoyed working with the owners they go above and beyond any expectation. If you need something ask they work with you. We will definatley be back.

My friends and I really enjoyed staying in this home. The owner does extra things to make the home very cozy and welcoming. When we first entered the home she had candles burning and everything was spotless and homey. She even puts truffles by your bed side! The home is immaculate and very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and we will for sure be renting this home again! We go to Florence alot and this is where we will stay. Another thing that we enjoyed was that the casino that is literally 5 minutes away will come pick you up at your door step and bring you back to your door step for free! So there is a lot to do in Florence even if you don't ride quads. It was a relaxing fun weekend get away!

We loved the fact that the house had a hot tub. It was nice to be able to relax after the long days of riding at the dunes.
Weekend Getaway, March 1, 2008
By Randy (Portland, OR)
We dicided to take a last minute getaway to the coast with the kids and found this place. The owners were very polite and made the last minute booking very simple. The house is immaculate and had plenty of room for four adults and 5 kids. It is quiet and serence and the hot tub was an added bonus, along with wireless internet which was a suprise! Overall the house was very clean and well maintained. We plan on trying to stay in this house again in on our next visit to Florence as the location is perfectly placed to offer something for everyone.

This house was quite a find! It is so new and clean. Very spacious! It had all the little extras you might need or forget. If you get the chance to stay here, do so. The grill and hot-tub are great for evening dinners. Even puzzles and color books for the kids!
The most beautiful house!, September 13, 2007
It brings tears to my eyes to see this house again! We have loved every moment we spent there, and we can't wait to go back! You will love it like no other!
This house is so serene and peaceful that just a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the deck and that alone would be a great getaway!
