Fishing, wildlife pleasures: Private, clean home.

We spent the entire month of June in this beautiful location, sharing it with several friends/family throughout the month. We saw rabbits and fox out our sliding glass window on the deck, looking down to the river. Chuck fished, caught trout, and we ate them, right on the property. The home is high quality, fully furnished, everything possible to make it like home. Comfortable beds, ceiling fans, washer dryer. If we ever needed something, we just searched and found it. Even a hose for washing the car (or feet if dirty). The lot is very quiet from road noise. Even insulation in the house, because we couldn't hear our snoring friends through the walls. Location great, near Soldier Pond for more fishing. We enjoyed hiking to the rapids (Airport Rd.), and up Tenth Mountain. Aroostook County is beautiful, and summer landscaping, potato fields, canola fields are great sights. We also saw a moose, deer, and listened to birds in the mornings. You'll never forget this lovely location and home rental. I hate to call it a "camp", because it's not rustic or old. It's modern and very comfortable. Thanks to the owners for giving a deal for monthly rate. We've shared this with many, many friends.

My mom and I stayed at the cottage for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! Everything we needed was there and the view to the water was breathtaking. The cottage was cozy and warm...even during the ice storm! The property is in excellent condition; we truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others.

Home Away From Home

What a wonderful family vacation we had at this camp. It literally was home away from home. We only had to bring our clothes and food, everything else was there. We have 3 small children and there was lots of space outdoors to run and play. The view, the water, just the tranquility of it all was amazing. We were saddened to see that the camp is already been booked for the whole summer of 2009. Absolutely 5 Star!!!! Chantal & Rick Graves

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, your home was absolutely perfect for our family, plenty of room, warm when needed, very comfortable beds (which is important to me) and most of all spotless! The boys loved having their own space downstairs and it was great for all the winter stuff. I hope you don't mind but we are calling Rilester our "winter home away from home" and plan to come back every year. Our stay at the River Camp last summer was outstanding. We enjoyed the rustic setting, the peace and tranquility, plus all the comforts of home. What I enjoyed best was sitting on the deck on early mornings and drinking my coffee. Seeing and listening to the sounds of the river and the birds, and watching to see if the deers would come to the river for their morning drink. There were many animal tracks, the anticipation was fun.
