Description of the Fort Lauderdale vacation home rental

The guest house is located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, and is on our own private 50 acre lake. We are 10 mins from the beach, 10 mins from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and only minutes from the mall and restaurants. Everything is within easy reach. You may reserve water ski lessons while you are staying at the house. Ideal for your family vacation. This house comfortably sleeps 4 but will accomodate 5 to 6 people. It has a king bed, a queen bed, and a pullout queen sofa bed in the living room. We also have an inflatable mattresses if needed. There are two bathrooms. Tennis courts are on site at the lake. Our lake is a landmark in South Florida, we have been at this location since the early 80's.

Please note that the house shown on the mapping site is not the guest house. The correct house is 5 doors down from the bend in the road on the lakeside. You should map it on another site to see the correct house.

There is plenty of excitement above the water, from entertaining sightseeing cruises, to some of the greatest sport fishing in the Atlantic, to cruising the Everglades National Park.

There are 12 shopping malls and over 1,000 specialty retail shops. You can find everything you want from the finest merchandise to the bargains of the flea markets.

If its culture you seek, you will be surprised at the array of museums and galleries displaying fine art. Performing art venues offer wonderful performances of all kinds from ballet to rock bands.
