We loved our stay here. The house is absolutely beautiful; unique decor, large windows and a spacious floor plan. There is a giant mango tree outside next to the pool. The pool is probably the biggest private pool I have seen at most houses. The house is modern and fully renovated, the kitchen has all new appliances, and equipped with all of your cooking needs! It's a great place to relax, we didn't want to leave!

We really enjoyed the house and the heated pool! Close to the beach, shopping centre and restaurants, it's in a quiet neighborhood close to everything! The house is fully "baby/child equipped", so I would recommend it without hesitation for families! The only little thing is we had issues with the phone and internet, but it just forced us to work less and relax more so it ended up not being such a bad thing! The owner was very nice and welcoming and wanted to ensure we'd have a great stay! I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale and I would go back without hesitation!

So happy that we found this wonderful place. We must agree on all the positive comments to this personalized Florida home that Mark so kindly opened for us. We spent a week here with our grand children and were also lucky to hit a week with very warm, sunny and nice weather. Hopefully we can return soon. We don't want to recommend this to anybody, because we want to keep it for ourselves.

Beautiful Home From Home

The proved the perfect antidote to the stresses of Orlando experience! This is a relaxing house with all the comforts of home - and more! The salt water pool is a lovely size, and just the right temperature. The location is good for access, nothing is far away, including the excellent Galleria Mall, Publix and Whole Food supermarkets with a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beautiful beach is just a short drive away as is Los Olas. We stayed for just over a week, and didn't want to leave!! We hope to make it our base next time we visit Fort Lauderdale! The owner is decent and nice to deal with.

Just what we needed !
September 30, 2012
We arrived at the house a few day after Hurricane Issac passed through. We were worried about how FL would be, but the house and everything was great! We loved the pool and used it everyday. It was a very quiet neighborhood and extremely relaxing. The house is decorated nicely and had every amenity you could think of. The kitchen was very well stocked. Mark was also very nice and readily available to us when we had questions. We loved that each room had a king or queen bed and fit us 3 couples very well. We felt very much at home here. There is tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. The beach is only a a few blocks away and the airport was a 5-10 min easy drive. The only reason I did not give our vacation a complete 5 stars is because the AC did go out for a few days and it was a bit hot! However, that was beyond Marks control and could have happened to any house. Mark quickly got the AC people out to work on it, but the AC company had some issues with a defective unit, thus taking a few days to get it replaced. Again, not anyone's fault and couldn't have been prevented, just kept us from having the "perfect" vacation, but instead very good! :) We will definitely keep this home in mind or our next vacation!!

Don't be afraid to rent this house sight unseen, it is the exception to the rule. Pictures don't do it justice. My husband & I rented this home with our teenage sons for a week and we didn't want to come home. Home is spacious & very nicely decorated. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with more small appliances than I have in my own home. The entire house is stocked with everything imaginable. Bring your toothbrush & you are good to go. The backyard is to die for. Very private with a beautiful pool, furniture, BBQ, & fruit trees. Made delicious smoothies with the mangoes. Home is truly close to everything. Stores, restaurants, beaches, highways, and many activities. Went fishing and snorkeling in Pompano Beach. Took an Airboat ride on the Everglades & tried the GoKarts in Weston. Area restaurants are very good. Went to La Bamba's for Mexican, a Japanese buffet, & J Marks for steak. Also cooked on the BBQ grill a couple of times. Our family loved the area and would love to return some day. Mark the homeowner is a pleasure to work with. Put this home on your bucket list. Glad we did.

The perfect place

This is really a great house for a vacation! Everything is better then the pictures. Lovely pool, beautiful kitchen with all the equipment you could possibly imagine, comfortable beds and in a nice and safe neighbourhood. We were to families from Sweden having a wonderful time. So happy we found this little paradise, and we would love to return! Thanks Mark!

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles was man benötigt von den Handtüchern über Geschirr ist vorhanden. Sehr schön angelegter Aussenbereich mit BBQ und überdachter Terrasse. Telefon- und Internetanschluss vorhanden. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und es war genügend Platz. Wir können dieses Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful Home, plenty of room, comfortable bed in Master, we did not use other two bedrooms as there was only my wife and I, but they look confortable and roomy. Very private back garden and pool, and only 5 minutes from the beach. We would recommend to friends and relatives.

The home was beautiful- great tile and wood floors throughout- very nice throughout! It was great to have use of HUGE beach towels, chairs, etc. The pool was very nice and great outdoor area to eat breakfast in morning. Only 5 minutes from beach and nice restaurants and shops across from beach on A-1. Mark was VERY easy to work with and was very accessible prior to and during rental if needed. We would love to be back for more then our short 3 nights in the future.

This house is so nice and has everything that you need! The pool is beautiful and very private, and our whole stay there was so relaxing!
