Hard rock casino is 15 min away , Miami and south beach is about 45 min from the house .

Enjoyable luxury stay

February 14, 2013

What a wonderful time we had staying at this lovely residence. The house itself is large and has many conveniences that you would not expect. It was indeed equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.The backyard has it all. It is situated on one of those great canals that wind its way to Las Olas. Although we didn't uses them, kayaks were available with our rental. One of the big pluses was a washer dryer right in our entryway.

We had a wonderful stay. Rosa was very welcoming and the house was nicely spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and it was so nice to have the washer and drier to use. Our adult children loved using the kayaks and all the beach equipment available to us. It was very restful looking out on the boats and waterway. The filtered, cold drinking water was perfect. Plenty of towels and linens were available to us and we enjoyed the covered parking. The proximity to the airport and cruise port was great. All-in-all we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Rosa's house.

Perfect for a family

July 10, 2012

My family stayed in Rosa's house for the week of July 4th. We had a wonderful time and the house was everything we hoped it would be. The kitchen is indeed stocked with just about every utensil you need to cook a meal. There is also a gas grill outside which we used for most of our cooking. The back yard was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax with plenty of seating for larger families. One thing that we weren't expecting but that was a wonderful surprise was the collection of things to use at the beach. I knew there were beach towels but totally didn't expect the chairs and such. Thank you for that. The house had plenty of amenities and we would love to stay there again if we ever take another family vacation to Florida. Thank you again, Rosa!!!

Great place for families

Rosa is a very sweet host, and the house was as comfortable and convenient as she promised. Things were a little run down but everything worked and was clean and serviceable. The house could have used a few simple things like dishwasher detergent that wasn't old and gloopy, a tub stopper and coffee filters. The house was the perfect amount of cozy but not fancy so I was worried about the kids breaking anything.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house on one of the intercoastal canals in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our trip to Florida was to visit our children who live in the Fort Lauderdale area. We traveled with 3 small dachshunds and had plenty of room and all the comforts at Rosa's guest house. She is a very thoughtful and gracious hostess and took care of any concerns we had or anything we needed. We had our children over for dinner several times during the 3 weeks we stayed there and had a great family time with them. We kept busy going to the beach, eating out, shopping and walking the boardwalks. Going to Butterfly World was a real treat. Needless to say, our children ran us ragged. We think Rosa could see this and she very kindly offered us another 2 days stay with no charge to further recoup!! She is one of the nicest ladies we have ever met and would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in a very quiet place, only 10 -15 minutes from most beaches. We stayed as Casa Brisa not long ago and it was such a fantastic experience. The owner, Rosa, was such a big help when it came time to plan for a night out or when we needed a recommendation for dinner. She was around when we needed her and disappeared when we didn't. The house is ideally situated near some of the best places Fort lauderdale has to offer... Literally minutes from the airport, and very close to Las Olas, the trendy shopping /restaurant district and equally as close to the Imax Theater and the performing arts center. The house is well equipped with anything that you need on a vacation, from linens and towels to a friendly, comfortable environment that makes you feel like home away from home. The part we enjoyed most was the backyard that sits on the canal. it is beautiful, and very breezy, just as the name implies. the large trees, the flowers and even the several iguanas we saw, just reminded us what a cool tropical environment we were in. I can't think of one reason NOT to stay at Casa Brisa, and in fact, we will be back there staying with Rosa for sure. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to anyone coming to Fort lauderdale.
